Sebastian and i walked down the sidewalk. His body near mine. His smile so bright. I feel his hand get closer to mine. I blush and start to move over a bit. He said, "So, when did you move into that penthouse? I've never seen you before." I smiled awkwardly and said, "I just moved in with my friend a few days ago." He smiled and said, "Well im glad i ran into you." My face became red. Blood red. He asked, "Are u hot or something? Your face is red." Without thinking, i blurted, "Only because your hot!" Oh shit! I tried to correct myself and he started to laugh. I just looked down and stared at the cement i walked on. Im such a dumb ass.
After a minute of silence, we finally arrived at starbucks. Im in deep shit now. I walked in beside him and tried to keep a low profile. I didn't want to be noticed. I said, "I'll go get us a table." and he agreed. Thank god. I didn't want to have to deal with all that bullshit again.
It took a few minutes and he finally sat down with two coffees and two bagels. Better than the food at the shithole. I stared at his golden blue eyes and thought to myself "Why is he so perfect?" He asked, "So, Sarah, may i ask where you come from?"
Ummm...ummmm...no. If i say im from a mental institution, then i could just say goodbye to Sebastian. Think...THINK!!! "Kansas" I blurted. Godammit Sarah. Why Kansas? He said, "No way. I grew up in Kansas. Which part?" Ugghh. Why?!?! "Topeka. Topeka, Kansas." Really. I feel like Dorothy. "He said, "Oh, i grew up in Concordia." I smiled and drank my coffee.
I was finished with my coffee and i went to the trash can. When i threw it away, some random dumb ass jumped on the table and yelled, "FIRE, THERE'S A FIRE!" even though there was clearly no fire. We all stood silent for a second, and then i yelled, "What the hell are you talking about?"
He looked at me and started to walk towards me. What the hell? I backed up one step and he moved faster. Oh shit! I didn't want to look like a scared bitch, so i took a step forward. He stopped in front of me and whispered, "There's a fire. A fire burning inside me." I was majorly confused. I said, "Umm, okay?" and walked past him. He grabbed my arm and yelled, "The fire! THE FIRE! HELP! IT GROWS!" I tried to yank my arm away from him but he wouldn't let go. Right before i was about to kick him, Sebastian pried the man's hand off of me and pushed him back. He said, "What the hell is your problem, man? You need some help." He looked at me and asked, "Are you okay, Sarah?" He cared about me? Wow. I said, "Yeah, i'm alright. Can we just go?" He nodded and we left. He actually cared. No one did. Nobody.
