Chapter 8, Wake Up

I'm so sorry I took forever to actually update, but I'm back!... for this Chapter at least. This chapter is based on nearly all of your suggestions so... thank you all so much!

You were submerged in darkness, every inch of your body felt numb, a ringing noise continuously rang in your ears, everything felt so odd. You began to panic, have you gone blind? What happened? You raised your hand to your hand to your chest...

No pulse

Memories came flooding back to your mind like a dam was just broken within your brain. You remembered the malice hanging off of Alyssa's every word. The insanity in her eyes, staring right into your pupils. Your attention soon came to where you were standing, the ringing had left while you were thinking and was replaced with words you couldn't quite understand. 

"Hello? Is anyone here? Frisk? Chara? Gaster? Sans? Toriel? Anyone?!" You called out into the abyss, panic finally setting into your heart as you started to hyperventilate.
"Ah Child, it seems you're finally here." A voice answered, sounding like it came closer every with every word that was said. The voice sounded so familiar as his name bounced around your head.

"Dxpqbo, is that you?" You called out, trying to walk towards the source of the voice.
"Yes, it is me. right here." He stated, finally emerging from the darkness. A light finally shining down betwixt both of you

"Why am I here?" You questioned, gazing around the dark canvas.

"Ah, right. We need you to live, (Y/n),"

"What? I don't... I don't understand,"

"You're important, (Y/n), You have things that need to be finished," Dxpqbo explained, seriousness lacing his voice.
"What? No that... That makes no sense!" You argued back, knowing that your heart would be pounding if it was beating.
"Well, let me make it simple for you to understand," He stated, placing his hands on your shoulders staring deep into your eyes.  

"Wake up."
