School Days

Chapter Three - Them

After that day, they spent all their time together, you would never find one without the other. As they walked through the hall, they would hold hands, walking side by side. all ways together, never apart. apart from in lesson of course, when they were in lessons where they weren't sitting next to each other then they would look quite sad, and wouldn't concentrate properly on their work. Nor would they look at the teacher for more than ten minutes before a glance in the others direction occurred.

the days went passed quickly, days turned into weeks. and with every passing second both of them were happier, and happier. PDA became the norm with them as with most happy couples and they only ever had 2 arguments, both of which were on who should end the call first. They had moved out of the dorms and into an apartment together, the apartment was large and contained 3 rooms; a living room with Crimson walls and a white ceiling, the floor made from realistic wood vinyl, a kitchen with marble counters and a fridge freezer, and a huge bedroom with a white king sized bed.

'Hey babe!' Jacks shouts into the apartment. Hanging his keys up and his coat and leaving his bag by the door.
'Hey jack, welcome home' said Lilly's voice from around the corner, lily then emerged from the bedroom, in a wheelchair with a neck brace. 'How'd the doctors appointment go?' Asked Jack, seeming rather hopeful 'it went well, the doctor said that I should be going into physiotherapy in four weeks, I can already feel my toes!' Lilly replied, a beaming smile start hint across her face and her glistening golden hair draping over her shoulder then stopping short after. It had to be cut for her surgery 'that's great to hear!' Responded Jack.

Two months ago, the school couldn't afford to do regular checks on the gas taps in the science rooms, this resulted in a failure in one of the seals causing extremely flammable gas to leak into the room, this happened as the teacher was using a Bunsen burner to do a demonstration.. As the teacher lit a splint, it lit the gas near the gas tap exploded, blowing everyone back, but Lilly was blown into a pipe, causing her back to break. She has been recovering at home with the help   Of Jack.

Years have passed, Lilly recovered. And Jack kneels in front of her holding a diamond ring 'Lilly white-soul, will you marry me?' As Jack uttered these words, Lilly froze. She couldn't recall ever being this happy. 'O-of course... Of course I will Jack!!'
