Ginny's POV

As I slowly trudge through the endless falling snow. My old worn coat, thin and pointless as it seeps in all the snow, it's as if I'm not even wearing a coat. Michael walks by my side, I'm already sick of him. I do believe however he's had enough of me as well, judging by the scowl plastered on his face, that and he seems to always talk to that Cho girl, everyone seems to like her and all the boys constantly lust after her.

I haven't spoken to her so I can't say I don't like her, I'm not that type of person. But it does bother me slightly (only slightly) that Harry is one of them boys. Finally, after what feels like a hundreds upon thousands of years we reach the door to go inside. There is a couple of people here already, but not much so we wait for others to come.

Ugh Zacharias Smith has shown up. I hate him, nosy prick he is. Probably just coming for information. Hermione begins explaining, to which Harry is said to be leader which I find perfect. But so many people look on as if he's insane.
(I'm not going to go into detail because unless your just strange and haven't read the books or watched the films and have somehow miraculously started reading a Harry Potter fanfiction you know what happens.)

The persuasion of all the students takes awhile, but after listing everything that Harry's done, they finally agree that Harry is amazing and deserves to be leader. Maybe not the amazing part, that's just me.

We sign up quickly then leave one by one as not to get noticed. Hermione reminds me that she'll meet me afterwards to discuss more. I can't even spot Michael, I have no idea where he's gone, and quite frankly I don't care that much. So I go around Hogsmeade with Luna.

I feel the icy bitter wind press harshly into the fresh wound on my hand. Courtesy of Umbridge the old bitch.

In Zonko's Luna wonders off, I have a knack of losing people apparently. Oh god no, Malfoy's just walked in. I decide to ignore him, but apparently he doesn't understand that by the look on my face I don't want to see him.

"Weasley there you are! You know your boyfriend is kissing that hot Ravenclaw right?" Oh Malfoy, he just has to rub salt in the wound.

"Yes. We broke up." Okay not completely true, but it will be soon enough.

He smirks. "I didn't know this. Since when?"

"What are we now gossip buddies?"

"If that means you'll answer me, then yes." His smirk expands.

"Just go to hell." I mutter and walk off, to find Luna.

"You know Weasley it's considered rude, to walk away when someone is talking to you." Malfoy says as he follows.

"Yeah, I just couldn't care less when your concerned. Since its your fault I got detention, doesn't that seem fair to leave me the hell alone or do you want to make it two bad boogey hexes."

"Don't you dare threaten me Weasley. I know people who could rip you apart if I tell them."

"Let me guess, it's your father."

"You little wh..."

"I advise you don't finish that sentence Malfoy." I hiss.

"If you only had as much money as you did threats, your family wouldn't live in poverty and you wouldn't be wearing that wretched coat."

"Says the ferret who knows nothing about love. We might not have money, but we have a family that's worth even more. You'd be nothing without your gold, and you know your family would gladly give you over if it was to save their own lives."

With that he walks away, leaving nothing but a scent and wet footprints.
