Danny's POV:
I got slightly impatient. Okay, well... very impatient. I poked the creature in an attempt to get it to wake up. It curled up in response and let out a small noise. The tiny creature was bunched into a tight ball, which was adorable as heck. I laughed softly as I observed it. I leaned closer to observe the creature when it finally looked at me.
Your POV:
You feel something press against your stomach. Hard. You curl up tightly as the air is forced from your lungs. You gasp for air, which receives a slight chuckle from your captor. Is he a captor? Whatever. Worrying makes you more nervous. You realize the cold hard surface, which you immediately grow wary of, is a countertop. You work up the courage to open your eyes...... and you immediately regret it.
You turn and see the same face that you saw outside. But the details on his face don't matter to you right now. Two ginormous moons stared at you. Realization hit you next: these were his eyes. The dark brown spheres scanned you, searching for answers of some kind.
"Aw you are so cute, I could just eat you up!"
You shrank away from his voice. It was loud. And.. 'eat you up...?" Goi took that literally. You shook violently. Fear made you freeze up. Otherwise you would have been long gone. You couldn't think straight. He flashed a smile, which showed his teeth. Teeth that could eat you. He seemed to notice how scared you were.
"Hey, I'm no going to hurt you..." He spoke again.
His voice was still loud! And your heart skipped a beat when he said that. He was acting like he was nice. But he just laughed when you struggled to breathe mere moments ago.
His phone rings and he turns away from just a moment. Just long enough for you to slip behind something. To hide. He called out, trying to find you, but gave up easily and walked out of the kitchen. You waited for a few moments before moving out from behind you hiding spot, which you now found was a cookie jar.
After some struggle, you get to the floor. The front door is still slightly open. You take a deep breath, still not seeing the giant, to steel yourself. Taking your chance, you sprint full speed out of the door and into the yard. Terror takes its grip on you.
The outside world is much scarier than you remembered. Of course, you shake from the intimidation of all of it. You hesitate for a moment before turning back towards the house. You would be safer inside. Hopefully. You rush into the house in hopes of avoiding the giant. It was going fine until you ran into an invisible barrier.
"No, no, no no no!" You shake, panting as you feel your way around, looking for a spot to escape. When you realize that you are completely trapped, you look up. Huge mistake. Looking at you through the surface encasing you, which you finally recognized as glass, was a Caucasian man with brown, curly hair and rich brown eyes.
"Woah..." He said, standing up fully. He peered down at you.
You covered your eyes and pulled your legs up to your chest. You wrapped your arms around your legs and stared down. Your eyes were squeezed shut while your back was slightly cold from the glass surface. The glass suddenly disappeared and you fell backward.
Danny POV:
I turned around as my phone rang to silence it. I didn't want to scare my poor guest. As I turned back around, it was gone. I cursed internally. I didn't fully know what it was yet. I decided to let it be. If it didn't want to be here, I shouldn't make it stay.
I kept quiet for a while and saw a blue hurry outside. My stomach twisted in knots for the creature. Everything must be so large to it. Was it used to it? Or did something happen? I couldn't help myself; I had to know. I grabbed a glass quietly and prepared to go outside to get the small thing.
I found that I didn't have to because it ran inside, frightened. I acted on pure impulse and put the glass over the creature. It bumped into the wall of the glass and fell, scooting around the edge to see if any exits could be found. At the moment it looked up, I was right above it, looking down.
"Woah..." I said in disbelief and curiosity. The creature immediately covered its ears as I spoke in my excited tone. It was a girl! A tiny girl. She was balled up when I lifted the glass and moved it. As I squatted down tombs on the same level as her, she squeaked and backpedaled away from me. I used my hands as a wall behind her. As she bumped into it, her skin paled even more.
I scooped her up in my hand and lifted her to eye level as I stood up. She quaked, closing her eyes tightly in terror.Your POV:
You tried to back away, but you was halted by a warm, fleshy barrier that moved you closer to the giants face. Next thing you knew, you were what seemed to be 40 feet in the air. Of course, it was really only about 6 feet. You realized that you sat in his palm and made the mistake of looking down. You quaked, terrified, and closed your eyes tightly. There was a huge person holding you high above the ground.
Heights scared you. Well, everything did really; you were easily frightened. The giant man spoke once more.
"Oh you are so precious." He was whispering. Perhaps not to hurt your ears..?
"Who are you?" He asked softly.
You didn't know what to do. What to say. You considered speaking, but you didn't think your vocal cords would allow it. When you didn't respond, he said,
"My name is Danny." He said it gently, trying to soothe you.
A/N: Thanks for reading! If you have and feedback or suggestions, please don't hesitate to comment them! I'm always looking to improve. I also don't have the whole plot planned out so you could influence the story. It's currently almost 2:30 in the morning, so I must ask that you excuse any grammar or spelling errors. Also, this is typed on my phone so autocorrect may have been weird at some spots, which I may have not noticed.
See you next chapter! I'll try to write it as soon as I can :)
