Trust is one of the most important things for me, and for anyone else in this world, trust is a valuable trait. Without trust in yourself, and other people, your mentality can never be at rest.
There's always something you're worried about, there's always something on your mind. Someone, what they said, what they did, or didn't do, and you start to doubt your trust in people, whether you should trust anyone.
So the question I'm answering today is; Is it trust?
Trust is a wide topic, it can cover the trust in yourself, and the trust you have in other people.
Trusting yourself is the most important thing. If you can live with yourself, be happy with your life, then nothing else can be a problem. Having a clear state of mind is the first step to having a clean state of physical health.
Having trust in yourself also means to back your own opinions, and understand that if you think something is up it probably is; a person's intuition is stronger than another's words. In other words, although someone may say one thing, if your instincts are strong enough, you will know what is true.
Having trust in those thoughts is most important. And even if you think that intuition could be wrong, you should go with what your gut says, and have faith in yourself. Being strong enough to fight for what you believe is more important than pleasing others.
Trusting other people is just as hard as trusting yourself. Many people I know struggle with how they feel, they tend to make the absolute worst of a situation, and worry about what could occur.
I must admit, I do the same thing. It is almost too easy to look at a single event and read into it with detail, as something negative and leading to worse. I often find myself noticing an ignored message from a close friend and immediately assuming they don't want to talk to me. Then I start to wonder what I've done, whether I said something, and it really affects my mental state throughout the day.
These kinds of things can be caused by a lacking trust in someone else, but also yourself. If you can't trust yourself, you won't clearly see that there's a more reasonable explanation to why things happen. If you can't trust others, you won't have the bravery to think into their world, and try to understand from their view.
How do you know if it is trust? Trust is not something you can choose to have, it forms from the small things which grow together.
Things like actions between friends can build trust. Saying to a significant other "I love you" and reminding someone how important they are will build trust between you. Thinking to yourself positively, and telling yourself that things aren't as bad as they seem, is the best way to build trust with yourself.
It is not an easy task, but if it is that difficult, then there isn't trust. I often find myself getting caught up in my thoughts, particularly when I have nothing to do or no one to talk to. I start to see the negative side, and it never helps anyone to feel that way.
However, I always get back to being happy. Sometimes it's simply talking to someone, mentioning how you feel, or turning off wifi and ignoring the world, while you do something productive.
One thing I notice is I always manage to clear my mind and find the trust again. As much as I struggle to trust, I always find it again in the little things.
Sometimes it's just the way we think that makes the situation bad. Learning to deal with your thoughts is helpful, and knowing how to analyse and be aware of bad thoughts is good for your own health.
If it's trust, you will always find a way back. If it is not trust, the best thing is to move on, and find a place where you fit in the world perfectly with a great trust.
So is it trust? Well, if it is trust, you will know. If it isn't, it can be hard to realise. Figuring out where your trust lies is the best thing to do. And dropping the people you can't trust will help you trust your own decisions better.
In conclusion, open your mind to the way you feel and think. Know when somethings wrong, and back your feelings because they don't exist for no reason. When you're in fear, discuss it. Let it out, and find a solution to ease your mind. Find the way that sets you at ease first. If you aren't settled in your own mind, you will never be able to help others.
