Lauren's pov

It's been a little bit over a year, since the fight with the Prowlers, a lot has happened since then like Dinah finally changed Normani, Tori and Zayn are going to have a baby girl soon, Joseph turned 1, we have even convinced Brad to stay with our pack and train wolves to fight, Dad thinks of him as another son actually, oh and the biggest news of all Zayn and Tori and Ally and I are soon going to take the positions as the new leaders, yeah my dad and His beta want to step down and let us take over, It's crazy man, I always knew I would eventually be one of the new leaders but now its a reality....I'm scared I won't be a good leader,I feel like everyone is going to disappointed in me.

"Lauren sweetie you haven't touched you're breakfast whats wrong?" My mom said rubbing my back

" huh, oh I'm just thinking" I told her and I turned to Joseph to see if he was eating.

"About the ceremony" she said, funny how you're mom can always tell whats wrong.

" yes, mom what if I'm not good enough, what if dad doesn't link i'm good enough, Can I just run away from here and go to Corpus Christi I could work on a fishing boat"

" Lauren i'm sorry but you are dumb sometimes, you are not running away to Texas to avoid being the new Alpha, you're father was just like you, the only difference is he wanted to run away to Ohio"

I looked at her with an Un amused face and I looked back at Joseph who was playing with his bananas " How about it Joseph, do you want to move to Texas"

"Ahhh pppssshhlt Mah" he kinda said hehe

" see mom Joseph wants to go now I just need Ally's Approval and we are out of here" I said and my mom had that look oh her face you know the one where she is thinking she gave birth to an idiot.

" Lauren, come on you know that Ally would never let you go it is you're destiny to be the new Alpha, listen to me sweetie, no one is ever good at something the first time they start anything, it takes time, but un like your father, you have someone to help you along the way you're father and Gordon were on there own, they killed you're grandfather and his beta and left him and Gordon to figure out how to lead a whole pack at the age of 20, you need to believe in you're self, we all believe in the 4 of you, you guys need to do the same" God I hate when mom gives us a fucking pep talk and it actually helps.

"( sigh) I guess you are right mom....thanks for the talk" I gave her a hug and rested my head on her shoulders.

" okay lets get going I want to go the flea market at the college, its walking distance, put Joseph in his stroller and lets get going" My mom said pushing me off, I shook my head and the 3 of us went on A little trip

Ally's pov

"LAUREN HURRY UP WE NEED TO BE AT THE CEREMONY IN LESS THEN 40 MINS" I yelled out,

" You're mama is nervous if you can't tell" I said to Joseph

" not nervous babe, I don't get N-nervous " she said stuttering I shook my head

" come on Lauren you were literally born to do this, and I am going to be by you're side till the end of time" She pulled me and Joseph into a hug and I rested my head on her shoulder.

" and then this little one will take you're spot when he is ready"  I said bouncing Him up a little and he giggled

" And you're beta is going to be Tori and Zayn's Baby so you must protect your cousin/ beta from everyone and every thing" Lauren said taking him from me and held him

I pulled out his stroller and we set him in there and we took off too the woods we walked in silence, For the past 2 days Lauren has been completely out of it, she hardly talks and she usually just contemplates her life in our room while holding Joseph.
