so Ann believed in tuffles, and believe gives people power, in this story it gave tuffles power. So ann believed that tuffles could talk, and so he did. Then when ann left tuffles, and abandoned her belief. Tuffles could no longer talk. he only had his conscience. but then when Ann gave tuffles to her kids, the kids has a stronger belief. and that gave tuffles the power to walk.
