Most people think the future doesn't exist, they think it's a make believe thing, but I don't believe in such things. I'm not like the other kids thinks the future could lead to a happy ending. For me, my views of the future are different. Why? Because I was born to have a gift. A special gift that no children can have. I have knowledge of the future......

"So you can see the future?"

My father asked.

"I do daddy."

I replied with a light nod.

"Hmmmm...."

My father tilts his head thinking about what he's going to do. Then he turns back to me with a stern gaze.

"....Yuki, you do know what this means right?"

He asked sternly.

"Yes daddy."

I replied with a strict face as my father slowly smiled at me.

"Well that's good because you're not like others kids Yuki do you know why?"

He asked with a grin.

"Because I'm different?"

I answered.

"Correct. Yuki, the reason why you're different from other children it's because you have a gift. A special gift that will bring Yui to happiness in her future."

My father explained.

"Even you daddy?"

I asked curiously.

"Of course Yuki, you must used your gift with passion, care, and for goodness for yourself and Yui."

He grinned as tilt my head unsure about this "gift".

"What if I failed daddy?"

I asked him where he got to my level and puts his hands on my shoulders.

"Yuki listen to me. You're not a failure. You're not human. You...are a special human with a special gift that god gave you when you are born."

He explained with a calm smile as I couldn't stop listening to his kind and calm words.

"So be proud of your gift. Embrace what you have. Embrace your self worth. Cherish your gift. And embrace who you are. With this gift you will able to protect and look out for Yui. Will you embrace that promise Yuki Komori?"

He asked politely as I slowly smiled, I nodded at his promise.

"I will daddy and I will never let you down!"

I smiled with my father smiling at my answer.

"Thank you Yuki, and one more thing before I let go play with Yui."

"Yes daddy?"

I asked.

"You must not tell Yui about your gift and you must never ever tell your sister about you being inhuman do I made myself clear?"

He commanded as I nodded at his promise once more.

"I promise daddy. I won't tell about myself just for you daddy!"

I exclaimed as my father smiled warmly, he patted my head.

"Good girl and make sure you keep her by her side."

"I will daddy!"

As we made each other promises, that is the day I cherish this special gift that I was born to have....
