Prologue

Vanessa's POV

What can I do with my life? I'm so bored.

I'm currently passing by the street when I saw a man sitting at the sidewalk looking drunk. He doesn't look like a beggar to me so why is he at the sidewalk?

"Vanessa?" Wait do I know him?

I looked back at him when I heard my name.

"Vanessa, it-it's you!" Then he wrapped his arms at my legs.

"Please get off me, I-I don't know you." I said trying to remove his grip.

"Please don't leave me again, promise I won't cheat you again." He said now sobbing.

"Woah woah, stop it, I really don't know you." He looked at me with his red and looking tired eyes.

"It's me, don't you remember? I'm Axel..." And that, he passed out.

I tried to remove his hand again but shoot, I can't.

"Do you know her ma'am?" An enforcer said.

"He's staying there two days already." He said and continued his thing.

How can I get out of this?
