Dave's P.O.V

"Ma Please! I am sorry!" I shouted louder.

"Dave, open the door! Baby please, let's discuss it out!"

After that huge shock that came unannounced after Uncle Ben said to me on phone, I was shocked till the depth of my bones.

And mum knew everything!

After hearing this, I ran out of the room not hearing the pleas of mum's and Uncle Ben's shouts and went to mum's room to lock myself out.

Mum pleaded to me for coming out of the room and I refused all contact for anyone.

Currently, I had locked myself for three hours with mum near the door, knocking softly and begging me to come out.

I can't move to Atlanta just like that. I am going to miss this place. My friends. Sylvia. My little brother.

I am scared for him because even though he is not my own blood, he is my baby brother.

And I remember that day and always thank god to get Tony.

(FLASHBACK)

It was spring time and mum would be the one who gives me surprises. Also, it was my 5 year friend anniversary with Becky so it was two different surprises from two people.

I had just finished my packing when I hear the door bell ring.

"Dave, open the door for me!" Mum shouts, as she was packing some stuff.

"Yes, ma!" I grunted out and ran towards the door.

I went and opened the door only to find no one waiting near the door.

I huffed and muttered under my breath, "stupid neighbourhood kids! don't know anything else to do!"

I was about to close the door when I hear a tiny voice whimpering badly. I turned back in shock to see nobody. Again, I hear the same voice to cry louder as ever. I felt scared to look around again until my feet came in contact with something which was on the ground.

I look down to see a lace basket with many white linen sheets encased in it.

Getting down on my knees, I try to open the enclosed wrapping with my trembling hands. My every movement was slow in fear to what may be in the basket. Once done, my mouth was hanging open, almost touching the ground in shock to what I have seen.

A tiny baby, which looked like it was just born a week ago. I have seen babies of mum's co-workers but this baby had blessed looks. This bundle of joy had its eyes closed, ears covered by a tiny cap and tiny whimpering sounds heard from its tiny mouth.

I was stunned to see this baby. Slowly, I sit down on the floor, crossing my legs and placing him in my lap. I slowly pulled the blanket that covered its arms and saw the baby wearing a baby blue suit.

"Who would leave such a young baby here?" I thought when I get interrupted by noises.

I hear someone taking a startled breath and I knew who it was.
