StarShifter's P.o.V

I woke up to find Zileus at my bedside. I yawn and he jumps back about five feet. "G-good morning your highness." He said. I let out a sigh and shake my head.
"Is it really morning?" I ask. he nods and I get up and walk over to my desk. I move the desk and push the wall in. I wave Zileus over and enter the room. Zileus follows me looking at all of the strange symbols
"Wow. Did you make this with your magic?" He asked. I shook my head and continued walking. There are more to come. I thought. This one tunnel connects to the entire Kingdom.
"This is one of a series of tunnels that lead all over the kingdom, The one we are taking leads to a place only my mother and I know about." I say. the tunnel becomes more damp, as I see vines appear. "These tunnels were made by my Grandmother."
"Hey Star, I see light, are we there?" Zileus asks. I nod and pick up pace. When we emerge, The light blinds me. And I am already completely blind. I Decide to look at the sun. "Star, you know that will make you blind in your good eye." Zileus warns. I look at him directly.
"I was hatched blind in that eye." I say with my voice lowered. I walk to the lake, and lie down. I tune into the chirping of the birds, the gentle waves of the lake, and the swaying of the trees. I doze off, letting darkness fill my vision. Next thing I know is I am at the bottom of the lake.
"ZILEUS!!!" I shout. He jumped as I emerged from the lake. I grab him and pull him into the lake. A few minuets later, my mother comes in and sees me climb out of the lake.
"What happened to you?" She asked. I don't respond and I fly up to the nearest sun-filled tree branch. I wrap my tail around the trunk of the tree, and close my eyes. The sound of Zileus emerging out of the lake fills my ears, and I'm woken up by him trying to pull me back in. I smirk and unwind my tail from the tree as I grip the trunk with my back talons.
Zileus tugs at me but with my grip he ends up falling back into the lake. My mother laughs incredibly hard. I dive into the lake and, lit up my glow stripes, dim enough that mother can't see, but bright enough for Zileus to see. I love you. My words shock him, and he flashes back, so do I. I smile and intertwine my tail with his. I used telepathy on mother and said, I've chosen my mate.
