I sat down next to my mom in the crowd just a few minutes before the game started. Everyone began to get riled up as the players took the field.

The whistle was blown and Beacon Hills took the ball. Scott ran down the side of the field, calling out to his teammate to show that he was open.

Scott stopped and raised his hands up in frustration when the ball wasn't passed to him and the other team stole it.

The ball was dropped onto the ground and Scott ran towards it, along with his teammate. His teammate crashed into him and knocked Scott over before stealing the ball and scoring a goal. Everyone in the bleachers cheered while I glared, "What a dick!" I exclaimed and mom slapped my arm,

"Language, young lady."

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms before listening in on the jackass on the field talking to the other players, excluding Scott. "Only to me." He hissed at his teammate,

"But what if he's open?"

"Who's the captain, you or me?"

"Jackson, come on, dude, I just wanna win."

"We will win." The asshole, Jackson, replied,

"But-"

"What did I say? Huh? What. Did. I. Say?"

"Don't pass to McCall."

Scott seemed to have listened in on the conversation, too, because I could hear his growling. "Calm down, Scott." I whispered,

"What was that, hon?" Mom asked, looking over at me.

I coughed, "Nothing. Just something in my throat."

With only a couple minutes left in the game, Beacon Hills was down by two points. Three to win. We all watched as Scott jumped in the air to catch the ball and run down the field. He dodged all of the defenders and scored.

I jumped in the air, "Yes, Scott! That's my baby brother!"

When the whistle was blown again, a player from the opposing team got the ball. I watched as the player looked at Scott and I could smell the fear on him. He threw the ball at Scott, who then ran down the field again and threw the ball at the goal. The ball went through the netting on the goalie's stick and into the goal.

"Pass to McCall!" I heard the coach yell, "Pass to McCall!"

I smirked in victory as they listened and passed the ball to my brother once again. All the players watched him in fear before he once again scored for the team with only .2 seconds left. This means that Beacon Hills won.

All the Beacon Hills fans cheered. Scott took his glove off and stared at his claws, "Oh, Scotty." I mumbled as he ran off, leaving his glove on the field.

After the game, I stayed behind and watched as Jackson approached Scott's glove on the field. He looked at the holes in the tips of the fingers, where Scott's claws poked through. I approached him, "So, you're the dick who wouldn't let people pass to my brother." I growled,

"What is he on?" Jackson asked,

I smirked, "Not any drug that you can get your little paws on." I flashed my blue eyes at him and his eyes widened, "Leave my brother alone, Jackass."

The hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I turned to see Derek. "Get lost." I hissed at Jackson and he ran off as I made my way to Derek,

"What are you doing here, Hale?"

"I was watching your brother play. He lost control, Em." Derek replied,

"Actually," I crossed my arms to emphasize my point, "He didn't. Yes, Scott wolfed out a bit, but he never actually lost control. Admit it, Derek, he's powerful. And he's good at keeping his cool. Well, more than you could when you were his age. Remember the locker room before your basketball games?" I smirked,

I knocked on my brother's door the next morning, hoping he was awake. "Come in!" Opening the door, I gave him a small smiled before sitting down on a chair,  "Good game last night."

"Thanks. What's up?" Scott asked,

"I need you to stay away from Derek Hale." I stated,

"What? Why-"

"I know you're a werewolf, Scotty." I interrupted, "And I know that you know that Derek is one, too. He isn't against you, but he isn't with you either."

I got up and began walking towards the door when he spoke, "You guys used to be best friends."

"Not all fairy tales have a happy ending, Scotty."
