"Hey Aaron."I said as I sat down beside him on the bench. "I have something to tell you."
"You're failing math?" He asked while chuckling.
"Well, yeah. But, that's not it."
"Okay, shoot."
"Brian and I are, uh, dating."
"Holy shit I fucking knew it!" He yelled and jumped up off the bench, pulling me with him. "John Christopher Depp I am so fucking proud of you."
"Thanks, Aaron." I chuckled. "Where's Lizzy?"
"She was with Heather all weekend."
"Oh, of course."
"Yeah, now I'm gonna be the awkward single one in the friend group."
"Oh please, don't even act like you and Ashley don't have a thing."
The bell rang, and I excitedly made my way to first period. Aaron followed behind me, shaking his head and laughing.
I sat down and opened up my textbook. When Brian came in he smiled at me before taking his seat. Aaron turned around and shook his hand like the stupid dork he was. Brian looked back at me and blushed.
I payed attention for once. I almost screamed when I actually got a problem right. Brian looked back at me with a questioning look, and I just blushed and looked down.
When I got to second period, Lizzy was already there. I went up to her desk and she looked at me like she already knew what I was gonna tell her.
"Hmm, don't even say anything. I bet I can guess." She laughed and studied my face. "Somebody has a boyfriend." I nodded. "And that boyfriend's name is Brian." I nodded again, smiling. "Oh my god Johnny I'm so happy for you!"
"Thanks." I smiled. "So, what happened with you and Heather?" I kept my voice down as people were coming in.
"Oh, girlfriends." She replied while smiling.
Before I had a chance to respond the bell rang. I went to my seat and pulled out my shit. Maybe I would start trying to do good in school.

"So, I have an idea." Aaron said once we all sat down at our lunch table. We all looked at him, waiting for him to continue. "Since spring break is next week, I was thinking that maybe we could all go to the beach together."
"I love the beach!" Heather exclaimed with her mouth full. She really was perfect for Lizzy.
"Same. That sounds like a good idea." Lizzy said. Ashley nodded in agreement.
"That just leaves you two lovebirds." Aaron said, looking at me and Brian. "So, what do you say?"
"I like the beach." Brian said.
"Me too." I agreed as he squeezed my hand under the table.
"Sweet. Since we're all on board, I was thinking that we would rent a beach house for, say, a week, down in Miami. We would all need to chip in a little money, though." Aaron pulled out a few pieces of paper. "I've got it all planned out. It's not gonna take long to get there but we'll probably only need one vehicle. We can borrow my uncles Volkswagen camper."
Lizzy laughed and stared at him. "You really put a lot of thought into this, didn't you?"
"Yeah, I mean, it's our last spring break before college. We should make the best of it." He smiled and told us some more details before the bell rang, signaling that lunch was over.
