Lizzy POV
I'm in love. With my phone. It has saved me countless times, but somehow I just manage to drop it no matter what! It's really not my fault, it's just that gravity decides to be a bitch sometimes and knock stuff out of my grasp. That is all.
So yeah. There I was. Just chilling in this new school that I had already managed to get lost in. Wtf. I swear I had the map on my phone, but I guess not.
As my head and thoughts were buried somewhere down in Narnia, I felt a jolt go through my body. My very small body. I'm literally 5'0 . So short. Anyways, I look up and see a tall girl, dark mocha skin, medium brown hair pulled into a messy bun, and brown eyes shielded behind a pair of purple glasses. She looked just as lost as me.
"Hi, I'm Aliyah, but you can call me Ali, or Liya, but NOT ali_ghthouse. Are you as new as me?" She asked/demanded/joked.
" Haha, yeah pretty much." I joked. I looked down at my hands to try to find the map again, but my phone was nowhere to be seen.
"If you're looking for your phone, I think it's behind you..." She trailed off.
I slowly turned around to see my poor, poor phone lying on the ground, face down.
"Shit." I whispered under my breath. I walked over and picked it up to find that it wasn't cracked or even scratched. "Stupid gravity."
Aliyah was still standing there looking around for her class. I took this time to analyze her. She was wearing blue, high waisted jeans, a black and white crop top, and the same black Converse as me. I couldn't really tell if she was wearing makeup or not but I didn't really care.
I looked at her face and said,"Oh, by the way I'm Elizabeth, you can call me Lizzy though. What's your schedule?"
We compared schedules and I was again disappointed to see that we had one class together. Math. With Mrs. Rosales (and Nick). At the end of the day.
Well fuck.
