I look around me, the place is completely empty except for Kai and me.

I'm afraid that he wakes up,I'm afraid of how he will react.That fear, expands over my whole body as soon as I hear a few grunts from him.

I turn to him, his eyes open little by little, he moves slowly to end up standing.One of his hands rubs his head.

He looks at his surroundings discovering what happened and when he realizes it his chest starts rising and falling with rage, and his face is no longer confused at all.

-Fuck Brooklyn!What the hell did you just do!?-he yells making my body shudder and involuntarily I move back because of the fear.

He releases a small chuckle against my lips and with a flick of his fingers his shirt falls to the floor.

I wrap my arms around his neck and let my hands get lost in his hair.

My gaze wonders around the place, there us no one, of course there is no one, Bonnie, Damon, Elena and Kai have gone to to 1903's prision world to get Damon's mother out, and Caroline and Stefan have no humanity  and are who knows where.So I'am completely alone, waiting for them to retun.

I get up from the chair to serve myself a glass of water, I just take I sip when I hear four voices, but none of them is Kai's.

I run to the great hall to meet with them and realise that Kai is not there.

-Oh, hello Brooklyn this is my...-but my voice interrupts Damon.

-And Kai?- Is the only thing that I care about.

-Brooklyn listen...- Bonnie stars talking.

-Where is Kai?-I repeat, raising my voice's tone.

-Hey relax.

-Bonnie, where the hell is Kai?

-I left him behind in 1903's prision world- she finaly says, I don't realise it but the glass of water falls from my hand and from my eyes the  tears start to fall out...

-Kai!- is the first thing that comes out of my throat accompanied by sobs.

Arms embrace me and a tender voice tries to relax me.

-Shhh, little one, you are ok, I'm here, Im with you I'm back, I'm not leaving-he gently kisses my head and makes me relax realising that he's with me.

He lays back on the bed, taking me with him and I lay my head on his chest.
