The hot, summer sun beat down on me as I leaned back on my elbows, feet dangling over into the edge of the pool. Crystal sat down on my right, 2 cupcakes in hand passing me one. "So how much longer til someone busts open that liquor cabinet in there? This party seriously needs a mood change." I scoffed at her, pulling my sunglasses back down onto my face, munching away at the cupcake, thinking I'd rather have a beer with this heat, and lay back onto my towel. "I don't know, but something better change soon, think I'm gonna start a riot," I said chuckling. She slapped her thigh, "Damn they could at least do something about the music." I jerked upright and pulled my sunglasses back off, eyeing her coyly. "Dude, think I got ya covered."
I hopped up and walked over to the chair I'd laid my bag in and grabbed my cell, scrolling through my playlists. Stalking past the other kids, I made my way over to the Bluetooth stereo that was blaring some bubblegum pop music and connected. Suddenly Five Finger Death Punch is blaring through the speakers and all the guys start cheering as I slide my phone into the front of my boyshort bottoms. Amanda eyes me from across the pool, and she and her 2 followers, Ashlan and Ameri, make their way over to me. She glares, "Oh my god, did you seriously come over here and change my music? This is my party. You can't do that," she glares pointing a finger at my chest. I look down at her finger, an eyebrow raised. "Uh, yeah Mandy I think I did. Your music is horrible, you're ruining your own party," I said smirking. She gasped, eyes wide in mock shock. "You are so cray cray. My parties are the best and everybody knows it. That's why they show up. That's why you showed up," her followers nodding in agreement. "What are you even doing here anyway?," she scoffs putting her hand on her hip. I see Crystal coming up behind them, rolling her eyes and mocking Amanda's body movements. "Oh me? I came for the free booze. Like I always do. And like everybody else that shows up for your parties."
Amanda scoffs again and flips her honey blonde hair over her shoulder, "That's so not true. Everybody loves me and my parties and that's why they come. Nobody would ever come around for you because you're nothing compared to me," she says smirking. My eyebrow twitches as I give my best, fake evil Japanese girly laugh.
I hold a finger up in front of me telling her to wait as I saunter over to the diving board. Standing in the middle of it, a few people watching me, "Hey everybody, how's it going?". A few cheers are thrown my way. "Who's here to party?," more cheers, "Who's here to just chill?," a couple of hoots, "Who's here to to bask in Amanda's glory?," I see her perk up a little at the mention of her name but her smirk starts to fade as there aren't many cheers for her.
"Aww come on guys. It's Amanda, lemme hear a whoo," they let out a small one. "What?!? Come on, let's hear it for Amanda." I start clapping as the cheers get a little louder. She whisper-yells to me "What are you doing? You're ruining my party." I cock an eyebrow at her. "Amanda always has the best parties, am I right guys?" The crowd gives me a spirited 'Yeah', "and we all have a great time when we show up right?" Another 'Yeah' from them all. "She's always got the best food, and the best music," some of them laughing now, "and always the best refreshments" 'Whoooo' coming from them now. "I mean seriously, how many of us just can't wait to shoot a Jager bomb, right? Or to bust out that tequila and do some body shots? Hey Hunter!" I wink as I point to a guy in the pool.
Amanda shifts her weight from foot to foot clenching her jaw as I continue on. "So come on you guys, give it up for Amanda. Show her how much we love her awesome parties and her parents awesome stash!" The whole pool area erupts with cheers now as I clap my hands again turning towards Amanda while she literally looks like she's trying to make my head explode from sheer thought. I start pumping my fist in the air, "Amanda, Amanda, Amanda, Amanda," and the others continue on with my chant as I walk back down the diving board. Her 2 goons stand at the end of it blocking the step so that I can't get back down, so I turn around and dive off into the pool.
I swim over to the side, spotting Crystal, arms crossed, shaking her head and smirk on full blast. "You know she's probably gonna have you killed off next week right?," she says while reaching down to grab my arm as I get out of the pool. I turn to look back over the crowd and over to Amanda and her flunkies. I scoff, glaring at the alpha's daughter. "I doubt it, I just made this thing epic for her. Music blaring, crowd bumping, all we need are a few drunks and broken bottles and my riot will be complete," I sigh. She scoffs and bumps me gently. "Just hope a window doesn't get broken again or she'll have big daddy alpha on your ass, my evil genius friend." I smile, putting my sunglasses back on. "Let's go help with the drinks, shall we?" I loop my arm through Crystal's as we laugh and make our way into the house behind a few others, already having the same idea.
