The Mysterious Island

The Attemted Escape

I went into the room and saw my friend Shivam lying on the bed bleeding. I asked him what happened while trying to comfort him. He said something hit him, like a bullet or something. I saw where he was hit and the window was cracked and assumed the owners of that island shot him. The captain was a trained doctor thankfully.

I hear crying in another room and i run there.(The ship is big but we all stay close) . I saw the girl crying on the bed, in a ball like she had just seen a ghost. I asked what had happened and tried comforting her as well. She said that she was scared and as soon as she heard Shivam scream she got really scared and won't be able to sleep.

I told her she could sleep in my room because it had an extra bed. She agreed and just got into the bed and slept straight away. I went to my bed and slept. I woke up early and took her bag and stuff and put it in my room. She woke up and forgot what had happened that night and when she came out of the room she went to the dining room and there was breakfast there that i had made. The captain gathered us all and said we could relax but would have to do some chores. He probably just captured us to have company. Suddenly my friends try to escape and jump on canoes and paddle away even Shivam. Obviously he didn't paddle but just sat there hoping of the best. I didn't bother joining them, neither did the girl or Diya. I then explained what happened last night to the girl.
