We've been driving for awhile and Chance refuses to tell me where we're going and it's slightly annoying but I brush that off of my shoulders because it was sweet enough for him to take me out to grab a bite to eat. We talk almost through the whole car ride and he's surprisingly making me feel better.

"Can you please tell me where we're going?"

I ask anxiously and he pays no attention to me, I sigh quietly and he finally looks me in the eye, his eyes look dull and I could swear that he looks as if he's about to break a few tears.

"The less you know the better." He turns his face away from me,

I feel like something special was disconnected from my own body as his eyes left me.

I had been so wrapped on worrying where we're going that I hadn't realized that we already reached the restaurant.

I look around trying to familiarize myself with the area and I don't think I've ever been here before.

"What is this place?" I chuckle a little and so does he, but he doesn't answer my question.

"Come you'll see." He says while not looking at me but eyeing the restaurant.

I say nothing and decide to follow behind him. I look around trying to avoid the fact that he's starring straight in my face.

I can hear his heart pounding and that makes me smile until I realize it's mines.

The closer we get to the building, the more I'm acquainted with the scent of the beach and it soothes my senses and I feel somewhat relaxed and safe.

The building looks somewhat tropical and calm, it reminds me of home and I needed that a little. I feel him squeeze my hand gently trying to win my attention.

One of the waiters sees us from a far and greets up at the door. She talks more to chance than she does to me but i don't really mind.

As we reach to the table, we talk for what seemed like an everlasting eternity, and I mean that in a good way.

Once our waiter comes back, we order some burgers and french fries.

Our conversation comes to a halt and when the food reached, we eat and sit down for about 30 minutes more, continuing to talk and I got to know more about him than I would've first guessed.

I suppose not all first impressions are as they seem.

After he continuously refused to let me pay the bill for our food, I gave up and handed him the bill.

I got up walking out the building and he followed behind me.

"Hey!!" I heard a feminine voice yelling from behind us and I recognize who it is before I turn around.

Its the waiter from earlier.

I turn around swiftly and Chance does too with a confused expression fixated on his face.

She finally catches up to us and her eyes are locked on Chance of course.

I groan to myself and she must of heard me because she sneered at me, this only made me laugh.

"I never caught your number." her voice trembles and she's breathing extremely hard for someone who was probably running for only a few seconds.

I look to chance, only curious in what his reply will be to her.

He only looks annoyed at her and I don't know if she can see what I see because she's still smiling as brightly as ever in his face and it's quiet hilarious from where I'm standing.

"Maybe because I didn't give it, I'm sorry but I'm on a date and id appreciate it if you left."

He wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me directly to his side.

Her mouth drops open and I'm just as shocked as she is.

He then walks away with me still strapped to his side.

I look at him, dazzled and completely clueless on how else to feel about what just happened.

I pull away from him when I notice he's walking in another direction away from the car. I fold my arms and look at him puzzled.

"You have to tell me where we're going now." He bows his head down and laughs softly while grabbing a hold on my hand and I don't object to him.

He covers my eyes and walks behind me.

"As long as you feel me right here behind you, just know that you're safe."

I nod and walk in the direction that I feel his legs push mines in. I hear the singing of the seagulls and the cries of the water slapping against rocks and sand, the smell and nature is too familiar for me to miss.

I know where we are before he releases me and I want to scream but I laugh and smile instead.

"The beach!?" I gush.

"I figured you needed this." he says to me. I nod and walk into the water even though I'm dressed in the only clothes that I have right now. I don't care.

I can hear him calling off my name but the sensation that fills me once I get in is too much for me to worry about anything else right now.

I dive into the water and swim until my legs and arms become sore.

I rise to the top, looking around for chance and even though I'm a distance away from shore I see him clearly. I swim back and drop down next to him.

I look at him for awhile his eyes are closed but I know he's awake.

His eyes open up and he turns to me, for some reason he feels even more closer to me now that his eyes are open than when they weren't.

"Hi." He lets out a deep breath and swipes his thumb across the tip of my nose, wiping away the little glob of sand that I didn't even realize was there. "Hi" I smile back at him.

"Let's go now?" He asks me. I nod, even though I was really enjoying it here, I'm ready to go.

I look across the beach and see the car. "While you were swimming I drove over here." he says, not even needing me to ask how.

He gets a blanket and a dry t-shirt from his trunk. "Thank you." , he nods in reply.

I change into the shirt on the other side of the car since I don't really have much of a choice. I wrap up in the blanket and end up falling asleep in the car.

I wake up once I feel someone poking me. "We're here."

I know by 'here' he means the dorm. I sit up and hug him before I leave. "Thanks for today, it meant a lot to me." He smiles and hugs me tight.

I watch as he goes back into the car and drives off. I turn around to walk into the dormitory but the first person I see is Scott standing in front of me, looking heart broken. I can see he's been crying from how puffy and red his eye and face are right now, I even notice how violently his body is shaking right now and I'm more worried than ever.

"Malayaha?" His voice tremors horrifically and it makes me want to cry for him, but the only thing that comes out is,

"Scott.."
