Chapter 2 - The demon's journal

I was playing Temple Run on my IPhone. No one came at shop today and this is strange. I closed the game and I saw I had an unread text. It was from Barbara.

From: Barbara

I have a present for you. I'll be there in 5. :)

Last week I explained her how to sent texts to people and look. Now she's an expert. I don't know what she bought me. I hope she didn't make me another blazer like the one she gave me for Christmas. I don't say that I didn't like it but...Ok I didn't like it. Suddenly I saw a women with a yellow umbrella. Barbara. She has a book in her hand. I'm not a big fan of books. She entered in the shop with the biggest smile I've ever seen.

'Oh darling this weather is so depressing'

'Hello Barbara'

'Sorry. Hey darling. How was your day so far?'

'Quite boring. The only client was Mary.'

'Oh. I have something for you.'

'For me? It's not my birthday.'

'I know. I just saw you that you are quite sad and I was thinking that I really need to cheer you up. Sooo I bought you a book.'

'A book?'

'Yes. But darling it's not a normal book. It's the Demon's Journal.'

'Demon's Journal?'

'Yes. You know a hundred years ago a demon came in Forks to search for his soul mate. But unfortunately he didn't find her so he started to kill people. Everyone was afraid of him. Suddenly the demon disappeared. The legend sais that on October 5th the demon and his soul mate will be together forever. The will find each other and they'll be stronger than ever. But of course this is just a legend.'

'So this is his journal?'

'Yes. I didn't open it. I think you'll love it!'

'Sure. Thanks Barbara.'

'Before I go I want to tell you that Wednesday I'm going in a short trip with Mary in Vegas.'

'Vegas? Wow!'

'And I want you to take care of shop.'

'Sure. Take care!'

'I will. Bye darling, oh and if something's bothering you or you have problems just call me. Or text me. Now I know how to do funny faces.'

'Ok. I will. Bye Barbara!'

'Bye.'

And she was gone. Now I need to take care of the shop. This will be a wonderful week. I remembered about the book. It was a medium size book with a dark cover. I opened it and on first page was written in bold letters:

Harold Edward Styles - The demon

                             1926
