Ghost Hunt

the night before.

~Mau pov~
We all sat in my living room enjoying the take out having a good time knowing that I will start training my powers soon.
"Mai what will you do once you're finished training?" Ayako asked.
"Well it's summer right now and next year will be my last year in high school and I'll graduate. I haven't really thought of any colleges due to the fact that the only college that does paranormal studies is in England. I don't know." I said.
"Well I guess that's a good point." Yeah said.
The all nodded understanding why I wouldn't even consider going to that school now.
"Well last I heard Cambridge was planning a college here for the paranormal society to study and graduate. It should be done by the time you graduate next year." Lin said while looking at me.
"Really I mean I heard it was a possibility but I never thought they would go through with it." I said in shock.
Lin nodded his head and continued to eat.
"How would I apply there?" I asked.
"They're having entry tests given our during the summer. I can apply for you to get the test and we can help you study and get ready for the test. That day would be a day off from your training so that you can take the test." Lin said
I nodded and smiled in appreciation having food in my mouth.
"Well now that that's settled it's getting late. I need my beauty sleep."ayako said.
"Do you even know what the work beauty means?" Bou-san asked making fun of Ayako which caused him to get a purse to the head.
"Owww. What the hell was that for Ayako?" Bou-san asked.
We sat there laughing as Ayako whacked him again.
She came and hugged me goodbye and left to go home.
"Ok so Lin do toy have anywhere to stay as of right now?" I asked knowing that he had lived with Oliver.
"No but I'll just check into a hotel." He said.
"No not on my watch. You can stay here tonight. I know someone who has a small house for sale just down the street. I can show you the house tomorrow." I said.
Lin gave me a weak smile knowing I wouldn't take no for an answer.
"Alright." He said.
I just smiled and looked over to John and Masako.
"Are you guys staying the night aswell?" I asked.
"No. My ride is here right now. It was pleasure seeing you Mai." Masako said before bowing and leaving.
"The church needs me to do the nightly confession tonight." John said while scratching the back of his head.
"Then go on ahead. You are still a priest." I said while smiling.
"I'm gonna go home too Mai. Make sure to lock the door." Bou-san said.
I nodded my head as both John and Bou-san leave.
I stood up and took all of the empty paper plates to throw them away but Lin stopped me.
"I'll throw them away. Again it's takes quite a while for someone to recover from using that much Pk. Normally someone wouldn't even be conscious right now." Lin said sternly.
I just pouted and sat down.
~Lin pov~
As I finished scolding Mau I went to throw the plates away and when I came back I saw the most adorable thing ever.
Mai was sitting on the coach pouting.
Sometimes I really want to kiss her but then I think of our age difference.
She probably wouldn't even like me that way anyways.
"We should get some rest. Tomorrow will be a long day." I said.
She nodded and stood up leading me to a room.
"This is the guest room. There is a bathroom attached and my room is at the end of the hall if you need anything." She said.
I nodded and walked into my room. I stripped out of my clothes till I just remained in my boxers and went to sleep on the bed.
~Mai pov~
O walked out of the spare bedroom blushing like hell.
My crush is sleeping in my house.
Ok Mai get it together. It's only until he finds someplace to live and I love in with Bo-san.
I walked down the hall and reached my room. I opened it to reveal my room.
The walls were painted a bland white but the room furniture was made of cherry wood and the bed spread was a bright yellow with designs of red and Brown.
I walked into my room, closed the door, and started to change into my pajamas.
After I was done changing I went to my bed and played immediately falling asleep.
