Ghost Hunt

first day of training

Mai pov~
After quelling with Lin a bit more I started to go and make dinner.
   While I was making dinner started talking to me.
     "You may not like this but the monks I'm having you see are in China. They have agreed to teach you. I was also wishing to use that time to see if my parents will let you learn in the ways of being an omnyogi. This will probably help get those unknown psychic powers under control but it will be hard. They have a huge grudge against the Japanese." Lin said
     "That's ok. We've already discussed the fact that I may have travel out of country for some of my training. But are you sure about becoming an omnyogi. I mean your parents will probably hate me from the very beginning. I can't just ask them of something so important." I said while stirring the curry in a nervous manner.
"Yes, I think once I explain your situation they'll take you in as a pupil. Your powers are stronger than Oliver's and that can kill you with not having a rebound like he did. If we can split your powers with different forms of warding powers. Like learning to be a monk, a priestess, an exorcist from the church, and an omnyogi. That should be enough to keep your powers under control without having a rebound." Lin explained.
    I sigh. "Fine, but I don't want you to force your parents." I said.
     He nodded. "We'll be leaving in two days. I'll talk to my parents face to face on this matter. I'll need you there to show them. If they can see it they'll most likely take you in after training with the monks." He said.
    I nodded and started to serve the curry.

     Lin pov~
     Mai and I were getting ready to board the plane while she said get last good byes. She walked towards me and I nodded to her.
      We borded the plane and just talked through out the flight. When we landed I guided mai towards our rental car and started to drive towards my parents house.
       " mai I need you to calm down. They'll listen to me speak before just throwing you out." I said.
     Mai nodded and took some calming breaths before smiling at me. I smirked at her and started to pull into the driveway.

     We pulled into the driveway and I got out the car when he parked the car.
      Lin led me to the house and knocked on the door.
