Caught the Heart of the Bully

Chapter 6

Author's POV:

Mauno waited until everyone was gone, cleaning up the classroom then started to gather his things. When he had everything he then walked out of school, he was slightly swaying still. Slowly making his way home, he hadn't realized that Keitha and Taehyung are following him.

Right when Mauno was about to close the door, Taehyung stopped the door with his foot. "Yah, mind telling us what happened with Jungkook and you?" Mauno stared at Taehyung then at Keitha, he opened the door welcoming them into his house.

"Would you like anything to drink, or any snacks?" Taking off their shoes he walks into his kitchen getting advil for the headache. Taehyung and Keitha sit down on the couch, and Taehyung answered for the both of them. "No, just sit down and explained what happened."

As Mauno slowly made his way over to where they were, he sat down on a chair. "Well.. Where do I start?" Biting his lip, he lets out a sigh. "About a week ago Jungkook came to my house.. Keitha, remember when I said that I was sick that one day and had my mask on? I wasn't really sick, Jungkook punched me. He stated that he wanted me to stay away from you. Not to talk with you, not to be with you, not to be your friend. If I followed what he told me, he wouldn't hurt you or me. When we talked today, he saw. That's why he dragged me out of the room, lead me into the boy's bathroom. Telling that I didn't listen to him, he punched me again. He left me there, but before he left I told him that I would be taking your place for the beatings."

Keitha and Taehyung sat there taking it all in and stare at Mauno. When everything starting to sink in. Keitha looks up at Mauno in shock, "He started to beat you because you were close to me?" He nods then looks at Taehyung.

"One question.. Why is Taehyung with us?" Mauno glances at him then looks at Keitha.

"Jungkook made him choose us or them, and he picked us." Keitha says staring at Mauno's face. "Take off the mask, we need to see how bad the bruise and the swollen eye is." As Mauno looks way, he sighs taking off the mask looking back towards her.

"I will get a pack of ice.. Taehyung can you go out and get something for him to eat and drink?" She walks to his kitchen getting a baggie filling it with ice and then walking back in handing the baggie to Mauno. As Taehyung nods and leaves, Mauno sits down closing his eyes.

Keitha sits next to Mauno, "Don't close your eyes, you could have a concussion and that would be bad. Let's talk like we always did. Our silly inside jokes that make sense only to us. Random talks about anime and youtube."

Mauno opens his eyes and lets out a laugh, "Alright." She stares at him with a raised eyebrow. "Don't go all Vanoss on me." Keitha starts laughing. Mauno grabs a sharpie and starts to draw on his left pointer finger, he starts laughing thinking of what to say.

"Keitha, I love Kazehaya-Kun. He is always with me.. I love senpai, yes I do, he's for me, not for you!" Mauno pulls his finger close to his chest laughing. Keitha watches then bursts out laughing.

As Mauno takes colorful sharpies, he starts to draw on his other hand. "Let's go for Kuroko no Basket.. Keitha, draw Kuroko on your finger." He starts to laugh handing her a light blue sharpie. With the rest of the colors, he finishes. "And here we have Aomine, Midorima, Purple hair dude, Akashi, and then Kise." (This is a true thing my friend and I did.. She brings out the best in me.. I think)

After a while, Taehyung walks back in the house hearing Keitha and Mauno laughing. "Guys I'm back!" He walks in seeing the sharpies on the ground. "Did you guys get high off the fumes?" Tae jokes smiling widely.

Mauno looks at Taehyung then starts laughing. "Maybe.." Keitha starts laughing with Mauno rolling on the ground. After a while they slowly stop and sit up. "Taehyung, thank you for getting food for Mauno." She says smiling standing up. Mauno gets up and goes to the table. "I'll pay you back later if that's alright with you, Taehyung." Mauno says.

Taehyung looks at Mauno and shakes his head. "Not needed, don't worry about it." He watches Mauno with a small smile. Mauno looks at Keitha whispering softly to her, "He's ok to trust? You are sure that this isn't part of Jungkook's plan?"

Keitha smiles softly then nods, "I trust him enough. Plus, Jungkook said that he really likes you, I doubt that he would want to hurt you."

For the rest of the night, they all stay over at Mauno's house and just relax. They also think of a plan to keep Mauno safe from harms way. When they come up with the plan that they want, Keitha checks her phone. "Guys, it's almost 11 at night, we should get going." She stands up saying goodbye to Mauno and Taehyung. "I'll see you guys tomorrow." Keitha and Taehyung leave Mauno's house, going their separate ways.
