I only was able to swim out of my 'imagination' and flashes of images after breakfast, but it didn't last long.

"Why was the princes inside?" the king roars, striking my jaws.

I stumble. Blood trickle down my face. "I'm sorry. I really didn't know."

"You can be considered that you planned it for treason," hisses the queen.

"Uncle, aunt, I think he really didn't know..." begins Jess, but nobody belive him.

Everyone, the ministers, generals and the royal family are watching me with angry eyes, and I'm even scared than I was in the fire.

"If he really wanted treason, why did he jump into the fire to save Summer?"  says Jess, quite reasonably, but everyone shake their head.

"So I'll decide that execution will be carried out-" begins the king, but the door yanks open and princess Summer, escorted by soldiers, runs in.

"No!" she shrieks. "Papa, no!"

The king smiles, as she runs into his arms. "Oh, sweetheart."

"Daddy, he saved my life," insists the princess.

The king glares. "Dump him in the prison. How dare you! Five years ago the prince saved your life, and you dare!"

"Father," pleads the prince. "Please."

"He must be taught a lesson," says the king. "Imprisonment of a month, and after fifty caning, release him out- with his memory washed from him."

"Father!" gasps the prince.

I feel the colour drain from my face. "Sir-"

It was a so-called 'brainwashing', forcing the prisoner to drink poison. His memory would be completely wiped out from his head, and he'd live his life like a thoughtless kid. Bound and gagged, I was imprisoned there fed with dry bread and little water, and then the day came. With the whole country watching, I was dragged up to the heart of the country, and there it was, a big, white bowl, filled to the brim with black liquid.

"Drink," commands the king coldly.

I close my eyes and take the gulp. The hot liquid flows down my throat, and everything went black.
