This. Is. THE longest. Christmas. Vacation. Eh. Ver. Huh. Maybe Crystal would want to hang out. I go into my contact list and search for the contact labeled 'Serena' because Crys was the Serena to my Blair. It rang once. Twice. And then.
"Hello?" Not Crystal
"Oh Leo. Hey. Is Crystal there?" I asked. It was her boyfriend. I felt awkward. That's okay if she avoided me, his answering was all I needed to know she couldn't hang out.
"She is. In the bathroom actually. Do you need her for something?"
"Nah. Actually just tell her to call me later. You guys have fun"
"Alright well. Talk to you later" and with that he ended the call. Great. Stuck home. Alone. Again.
And then the poison begins to activate....and I text him:
Me: Hey
Hey :Owen
Me: What's up
Nothing, Not with Crystal? :Owen
Me: She's with Leo
Makes sense :Owen
Me: Yeah. Anything fun planned today?
No not really. Food. :Owen
Me: Oh so fun.
Yeah. :Owen
Me: Anything cool for Christmas?
No answer. I had half a mind to text him again. But the other half said don't be so desperate. I would later call that half my inner Blair Waldorf.
He never texted me back.
Three days later, I texted him again. A simple Hey. Two days after that, he texted me Hey. So I texted him hey and two days later he texted me hey and then, well by then it was New Years.
