(Still) Amy's POV:

My eyelids fluttered open as I struggled to see. It was pitch black where I was. I was laying on my back, so I put a hand down on the cold, stone floor. Where am I? I silently thought to myself. I helped myself up, but screamed in pain as I dropped back to the floor. Pain shot to my head. After I went unconscious my 'Father' must have beat me more. I still struggled to see where I was.
"Argh!" I clenched my teeth as I tried to figure out where the pain was coming from. My back. I felt my spine. A wet liquid formed on my fingers.
I brought it to my face. Even though I couldn't see, I could recognise what it was. It was my own blood.
I realised what had happened. He must have beat me to the point where I had started to bleed. But I know My so called 'Mother' hates blood. So they must have put me somewhere. I got up on my hands and knees, and took my hoodie off. I was still in so much pain, but I learn to ignore it.
I tied my hoodie around the part where I was bleeding on my back. I was going to have to throw away this Jumper, but it's worth it. I had to stop the bleeding.

I paced around a bit, trying to find my balance, and figuring out where the pain was coming from. I soon had gotten to the point where I could stand and walk. Now was the part where I have to figure out where I was.
My eyes had finally adjusted to the lack of light, but I could start to make out a few things. ThEre were a few shelves around, containing things like jars, and old tools you would use to fix things. There was a stone floor and a small staircase I had noticed. The staircase was off to one wall, and I went up. I was standing in the middle of the room, so I decided to go over to it. The roof was quite low, but I would fit in it.
I climbed the stairs with the little energy I had, and got to the top. There was a little handle on the roof. With only a little bit of strength I had, I pushed the handle up, finding out it was a trapdoor.
A burst of light filled the room. I was free.
