*Charlie's POV*
Blood dripped to the floor. Damn brick walls. I watched the red liquid running to the ground, flowing from the open cuts on my knuckles.
"Damn Charlie! Calm the fuck down!" Danny screamed, stepping between me and bloody wall.
"Move Rose." I snarled. He shook his head.
"No." I snarled at him, bringing my fist back.
"What's going on?" I turned angrily, moving for Matt. Johnny grabbed my arms in a bear hug from behind.
"Charlie! Stop!" He hollered. I growled and went slack. Johnny eased up but stayed by me just in case. I was fucked up, getting like this. I mean, I don't like her like that. She's barely a friend. So it shouldn't matter if Matty kisses her. Right? Yeah. It doesn't matter.
"Can you believe she's here?" Danny asked finally as we walked to the car.
"You mean a mental hospital?" Jorel asked. Danny nodded. "Not surprised." He said non-chalantly.
"What's your fucking problem?" Dylan asked angrily.
"Nothing. I'm just saying she's insane." The guys glared at him, "Hey, you can't say I'm wrong. She lies for a living. She's a skank and throws herself at anything with a dick. And did you see what she did at that party? Tell me that's not insane." He said. "Charlie? You know better than anyone. You saw." Why was he doing this? It's torturing me. Yeah I saw, but it never even crossed my mind that it could be considered insane. I bit my lip, not wanting to be involved. He took my silence the wrong way and continued.
"She is literally fucked in the head. She belongs here." He snarled. "She told us stories about how her mom beat her, but did you hear her in there? Loving mom. Seriously. Plus she stays with a bastard like Connor? No one's that crazy. No woman would stay with a guy like the Connor she describes. He doesn't seem that bad to me. See, she lies to get attenti-"
"Jorel, stop." Matt cut him off.
"It true. And you guys fall for her li-"
"I'm warning you Jorel." He threatened.
"You're even worse. She's got you wrapped around her pretty little fi-" He fell to the ground in a heap as Danny's fist connected with the back of his head. We stared at him, barely blinking.
"What? Tell me you didn't want to do that." No one said a word. He nodded and bent over, picking up Jorel's feet.
"Somebody?" He looked at us. Johnny nodded and picked up his hands. We walked slowly, pacing with Danny and Johnny. Dylan opened the car door and the boys threw Jorel in. I hopped in shotgun, as Danny got in the drivers seat.
We stayed silent most of the ride. Finally I spoke up, knowing that this problem had to be confronted.
"What are we going to do about Lexi?" I asked the guys. They looked shocked but actually half expectant of this question.
"Court." Danny said, not taking his eyes off the road.
"Ok." I said, turning back to the window. Johnny stared at me as if I was a stranger, a monkey in a Charlie Scene pantssuit.
"I thought you didn't like the authorities?" He said curiously.
"I don't. But even I know when their the only way to solve a problem." I shrugged.
"We could just break her out." Funny said, bringing the dubie to his lips, puffing circles.
"Open a fucking window!" Danny screamed at him, for once turning around.
"Fuck!" I screamed as the car drifted into a lane with an oncoming truck. The light blinded me, so I just pulled the steering wheel to the right, hoping that we'd survive. Luckily we steered into the right lane, where we belong.
"Fuck sakes Rose!" I shouted. He shrugged.
"I'm sorry, he was smoking in my fucking car." He growled at Dylan. He shrugged and took another drag.
"Give me that!" I snatched the dubie from his hands, taking a puff. I felt the cloak of silk cover me slowly. I took another puff, sinking further into peace. When my mind was relaxed, I flicked the dubie out the window, satisfied with the effect. I stared out the window. The suburban warzone was in effect. Little perfect housewives were gardening, even though it was early fall. The white flakes would soon destroy their hard work. Looking intently through the window, I saw the only glimpse of reality. A middle aged man fucking a housewife. The only reason I knew the woman was cheating, was because to live here, you need a good job. And it was work hours. I laughed wildly, oh how oblivious the poor bastard who's married to the skank must feel. I kept laughing, but nobody questioned why. I was high. I didn't smoke often, I drank more, so I was light. A few puffs and I was floating sky high. The building's were lego. Yeah that's what they were. I imagined a giant stepping on them.
"Haha! Cry giant bitch cry!" I cackled. I hope Jorel steps on a lego. Heehee! I clapped like retarded seal before Danny started singing. I stared at him, horrified. I covered my ears, screaming "Lalalala!" Funny pulled my hands away from my ears.
"Noooooooooo!" I screamed before Matt covered my mouth.
Where'd you go?
Where's your home?
How'd you end up all alone?
Can you hear me now?
There's no light,
There's no sound,
Hard to breath,
When your underground,
Can you hear me now?
My eye lids got heavy, as the dark took ahold of me. Damn Danny and his angelic voice! My eyes shut, and I was out.
