Part V (The Orphans:Jeness and Joseph)

The orphans were very exemplary and also very duteous to OORISMUS MARISKA. They never spoke a word against him.

All the six children worked very hard and did whatever work they were given conveniently. The children were of very small age when they were bought to the orphanage so they didn't knew anything about their parents. They all regarded OORISMUS MARISKA as their only creator. Joseph and Jeness, the twins, but were somehow considerate about their parents and always wanted to discern them. They thought that something had went wrong with their parents, they were in some big problem and only they could transpire that enigma. Joseph and Jeness were just 11 years old. They had their birthday on 29th February.

OORISMUS MARISKA was harsh to the children except with Joseph and Jeness. He loved Joseph and Jeness and treated them as his own children but he treated other children like they were his drudge. He always used to berate them nastily. In spite of these they were obedient to him.

As the children were not allowed to go to each other's room, Joseph and Jeness used to. They were even noticed sometimes by OORISMUS MARISKA but he did nothing.

When Joseph and Jeness were brought to the orphanage they were of 4 years and they had a bag with them which had a large book and also a note from their parents –

Dear Children,

We never wanted to leave you alone but as you know due to unexpected circumstances we had to. We are giving your responsibility to OORISMUS MARISKA. Please obey him and never try to talk to him about us. We may never meet you again. This book has a great meaning to us. Please take care of it. You are really small to understand about us but when time comes we are sure that you will be able to. Take care of yourselves and please forgive us.

They used to read the book always and always to understand it and their parents but as they were small, they never could.

The book had pages that seemed to be never ending. They actually hadn't completed reading the whole book. The book looked too old. The most complicated words were used in the book that was too difficult to understand. Even some pages were torn. Joseph and Jeness had hidden the book from OORISMUS MARISKA thinking that if he got to know about it he would take it away from them and never give it back. They even themselves didn't knew why they felt like that but they thought that the book should be any how safe from OORISMUS MARISKA.
