Chapter 1 A Small Surprise

Kie's P.o.v.

I walked home from a fancy restaurant with my parents who i was staying with in New York for the winter holidays. Normally I wouldn't like the city, but seeing it covered in snow gave it a... surreal kind of beauty

While we were walking i heard a small whimper coming from an alleyway​, I decided to investigate the noise

"Ill be right back" I said to my mom

"Don't be to long sweetheart" She replied.

when I entered the alley I spotted a small pile of cardboard boxes and decided to take a look. I moved one of the boxes to find a young boy about my age, he had short hair as white as the snow filling the alley, his skin was a light pale nearly as white as his hair, he wore a torn shirt which was to small and a pare of tight fitting trousers, if he hadn't moved I doubt I would have seen his cat ears and tail which were both white like his hair.

I picked him up to find a large scare on his right cheek, i took of my hat and put it on his head so it covers his ears and put my hoodie on him to cover his tail then ran to my parents yelling, they looked at me confused, then they saw the boy in my arms. My mother covered her mouth with her hands and my father ruched to my side, he took him from me, checking for a pulse. My dad was a paramedic, so he knew what he was doing. We then hurried home
