Sarah's P.O.V

Corban sat down and roughly pulled me with him.

"That man irritates me so much!" Corban quickly stood up and began to pace the room.

While he was pacing, I very closely observed the room.

I noticed the massive logs that it took to build this beautiful cabin. The living room being the first thing you noticed once inside the cabin. The kitchen and dining room were through an archway to the left. On the right was a closed door which I'm guessing was a bedroom. Through a hallway straight ahead were wooden stairs leading up to the second floor.

I dug my toes into the fluffy white carpet, biting my lip.

Corban went into the kitchen, still irritated.

"Since both of our families rented the cabin, the kitchen and pantry should be fully stocked." As Corban said this, Carl busted through the door. His arms were full of bags. The men in black followed behind him. Not one of them were empty handed.

"You can just sit the luggage in the living room, please and thank you." Carl called out.

The men sat the luggage down and stood by the rooms. Two went outside. Their hands locked together as the stood in a protective stance, reading to attack if anything happened.

Raven walked through the door carrying our bags.

"I'm sorry Raven! Thanks" I mouthed.

"Why don't you ever follow the rules? Your the next e-" Carl began.

"Shut up! She doesn't know." Corban whispered the last part but I still caught on.

"Do not tell me to shut up, young man!" Carl's face turned beet red.

"Well you were about to say something that shouldn't be known among the humans." Corban's hands waved wildly as he talked.

"Listen-"

"No, you listen dad! I'm tired of your crap! What happened was my choice, what will happen is also my choice." Corban began to breath heavily.

I don't know what came over me, but suddenly my front was pressed up against his back. I cooed to him, letting him know he needed to calm down. I gently rubbed his arms.

He visibly calmed.

Carl stared at me surprise and confusion swam through his eyes.

"Excuse me father, but Sarah and I need to unpack." He nodded to one of the men to grab our bags.

Corban once again grabbed my hand and dragged me upstairs. He opened the door and sat me on the bed.

"Wait! A-are we sharing a room?" I asked, panicking. The boy from downstairs dropped our bags on the bed and walked out.

"Yeah, there are only two rooms and dad wanted one to himself. There is two more rooms upstairs but the guards get one room. The other room isn't finished yet. Should be finished either tonight or tomorrow." Corban explained while opening his bag and putting away his clothes.

" Does that mean we have to share the bed?" Corban nodded.

What happened to asking me for permission. I am the female after all...!
