I knocked on my sons door but then remembered he couldn't hear. I just opened the door slowly and saw him laying on his bed. He's been doing this for 5 years. He's 15 and hasn't gone to school since 7th grade. So I decided to put him into highschool. Me and his brothers had to learn sign language since that day.

I gently tap garroths shoulder making him wake up. "Garroth I have news" I sign slowly so he can understand. He sat up rubbing his eye.

"What is it" he signed back to me. I sat next to him. "I put you into a highschool nearby" he looked at me his eyes widen. "I don't want to go" he told me. I haven't heard his voice in so long. That told me that he really didn't want to go. "Garroth please I want you to grow up happy with what you earned and your father would want that too" I signed making him look away when I brought up his father. Silence filled the room. Not one of us made a move. I looked down, he probably won't accept. I got up from his bed and walked towards the door. My hand touched the job until I felt him grab my wrist. "When do I start" he asked me his gaze not leaving the ground. I smiled to myself. He let go of my hand and waited for my next response. "Next week" I signed. "Then I guess we need to go get school supplies" he said I nodded. "Go get changed we'll go  now so you can rest for the time being" I signed and he went off to get his clothes. I walked out  smiling to myself. He's actually going to school for the first time in a while. "Please look after our son during his school days Help us get the happiness he deserve, Allow him to find that special someone" I looked up hoping he heard it.
