The dewy leaves of new-leaf blow over head. Tawnykit woke to the sound of her mother telling her littermates that they shouldn't try to put a fire ant in her nest to wake her up. Again... Upset she padded over to the Medicine cats den to help sort herbs and to calm down.
"If it isn't my favorite little helper" Shadeleaf came to greet her"how are you?"
"Quite well, and do you any herbs for me to sort today" Tawnykit said eager not wanting to go play with Blackkit.
"Gather the herb pile I have by the entrance" Shadeleaf. Tawnykit weakly trotted to the pile and began to sort them. Golden rod, can heal cuts or scars, Comfrey can mend broken bones, and Parsley can cure a belly ache. She finished sorting and put them in their slots. When she finished she went over to play with Wolfkit, Ravenkit, and Cavekit.
"Tawnykit!" Raven mowed with excitement
"Want to play? I am the badger and you are the warriors" Wolfkit meowed
"Sure"Tawnykit walked over to them. Wolfkit roar and started to act like a badger. Ravenkit jumped on his brothers back causing him to roll over. In return Wolfkit padded him saying that he was dead. Cavekit pounce hurting Wolfkit rolled over. Cavekit padded over to join Ravenkit on the side. Tawnykit shrieked in terror at Wolfkit.
"You can do it!" Ravenkit and Cavekit yowled
Tawnykit got up shaking. Wolfkit tried to pounce on her but she pawed him in the head hard. Wolfkit hit the ground not getting up.
"Oh no! Are you okay?" Tawnykit gasped
"Tawnykit!" Her father Blackfrost walked over upset at his daughter
"Y-yes"she stuttered
"What happened" he snarled
"W-we were p-playing a-and he was t-the badger and w-we were t-the warriors a-and he lunged a-at me a-and I put m-my paw up a-and I hit h-him"She explained
Her father growled at her "It wasn't her fault" Ravenkit butted in. To her relief she was glad that he butted in. Blackfrost's ears perked up.
"Is this true"he looked at the kits. Cavekit nodded quickly. Blackfrost walked away angry to talk with Gingerflower.
"Thanks"Tawnykit said great fully
"Anytime"Ravenkit smiled
