As the baby corgi followed Emmit and I upstairs, Emmit told me about how Mason got expelled at his drama class. "My mum freaked out when Mason gave her the expel notice! And —" he was about to go on until a man came out of nowhere and said "You talking 'bout me?!" I gaped, and Emmit folded his arms. The large human being staring down at us was Mason. "I—" but before I could explain, Emmit said, "Mason, get lost. I'm spending time with my new friend, idiot!" Mason choked a laugh. "Don't do anything to this precious girl, Emmit. Remember, no fucking black n white couples in our house!" I felt angry. "Yeah well Mason, if it wasn't for your hormones and inane behaviour of pushing me down in front of my mum causing me to servely faint, I wouldn't be here. So if you hate me being here, if you didn't push me I wouldn't. It's your fault. You're like primary school, you're dumb and stupid, yes I saw your algebra exam. And, you're still a fucking bitch. Now leave while I go hang out with my good friend."

I sprinted up the steps, with Emmit following behind. Clumsy me, I ran into a wall. I fell behind, and I must've fainted because I couldn't see anything.

--------------One Hour Later----------
"Zoe?" "Zoeee??" "ZOE?" ZOEE!!" I slowly awoke towards Emmits soothing voice. I opened an eye, seeing a desperate, worried look on Emmit's gorgeous face. "H-heyy...." I managed to say. I wish I could just melt into Emmit, like melting into marshmallows and clouds. I'm hurting. I'm in pain. "It's okay. I'll be right back. Stay here." He ran back downstairs. I waited patiently, smiling that I think we both like each other. Not like, but like like.

Maybe I can pretend I have fainted, so he could do mouth to mouth on me!! ..but that might make him more worried.

I stayed glued on the floor. I hear Emmit scattering up the steps. He slowly sat me up, I was leaning against the cold wall with my legs out. Emmit smiled at me, I continued to smile back. He opened his first aid container, and pulled out a sack, as small as a sock. He pulled out a transparent balloon. What was he up to? He went into the bathroom without saying a word. I heard the tap running for about 10 seconds. I heard him tip toeing back, as if he was holding a glass of water that was so full that we wasn't trying to let it leak. He sat down and sealed the balloon-shaped object. He tucked it into the little cushiony sack. Oh. It was an ice pack. Lol! He placed it softly on my forehead. He leaned in closer so our lips were only centimetres apart. Oh my god, is he going to kiss me? He's going to kiss me! What do I do?!? He brushed his lips against mine so, so gently. Even though it was my first kiss, I seemed to know exactly what to do. I slowly stuck my tongue in, never wanting to let go.

I hate time. When something amazing is going on, time goes so quick. But when something abominable or horrible happens, time goes sooooo slowly! For example, Emmit and I's amazing kiss lasted for about 10 seconds, but it only felt like a peck. But I did love the salt water and cinnamon taste of his full, smiley lips.

"Good kiss" I said, out of breath. "You mean, great kisser!" Emmit corrected me, smirking.

"Let's continue this homework shall we? Now, "x" equals what in =326.5?"

And that was it. We studied until 6:30pm. I invited Emmit to come to my house for dinner. He accepted, but it needed a little bit of convincing.
