"Hey everyone welcome back to your favorite blogger... yeah right... anyways today I have story for you, Last time I blogged I was saying how my first day of my new high school was coming up, well today's the day. And me being the outspoken and totally extroverted person I am totally didn't spend my whole summer hiding in my room... Okay, so I only talked with my parents and older brother the whole summer, and didn't make any "friends" during break, to be honest I didn't even leave the house. So I am completely alone on my first day at Black Manor High which is funny because my last name is Manor... just great I know" As the last key clicked to finish my sentence, I hear my mom calling me to come down for breakfast. After finishing up the new entry for my blog, I go down stairs to find my mom and dad sitting at the table eating croissants, my personal favorite. I grab a plate and put three of the seven croissants on the pan, leaving my parents two more each. I sit down with my food while my dad gives me a cup of coffee with my usual amount of creamer and sugar. My mom looks over to me and smiles, "Want me to drive you? Oh and honey how did you sleep? You look a bit tired." She says in her normal worried tone that's she always has when it comes to my health. I smile back at her and say in a relaxed tone,"I'm fine mom and you know how it is with the stress of moving to a new school. Oh, and mom I think I'll take you up on that offer." She smiles and we talk a bit more and then head out. I walk to the entrance of the school and am greeted by an unfamiliar face. A another student though he seemed older than me and was quite stocky, and I will admit though he was quite good looking, though those kind of people are bad news for people like me. Also not to mention that he was wearing a welcoming committee shirt, which means I won't be able to avoid these next few moments of hell for an introvert like me. I hesitantly walked over to him with a small forced smile on my face. He smiled and said," Hello there my name is Reece and welcome to Black Manor High school, It tradition for those on the welcoming committee to welcome all new freshman." I raise an eyebrow and ask," Where's the rest of this so called committee anyways?" He laughs a little and points up, I look up to a flood of water, flow from a second story window.

I stand there for a few seconds in silence and then suddenly I begin laughing. I myself didn't even realise that I started laughing until, after when I was wiping the tears from my cheeks. I look up to see a large group of upperclassman looking at me. I notice a blonde girl with bright eyes, coming towards me accompanied with that Reece guy. She smiles and joyfully says," Hey there freshman I haven't seen anybody react like that before, Oh and sorry about the water it's a tradition." "What's up with school and traditions," I ask. She looks at me puzzled for a few moments and then suddenly smiles, "Don't worry you'll get used to it freshman, I'm Paige by the way," she says while holding out a hand for me. I reluctantly grab hold, "I'm ... Eli Manor nice to meet you Paige."
She smiles looking extremely giddy ,"Well it's nice to meet you Eli Manor, I hope you enjoy your time here at our school, I better leave ya to that speaking of." She waves and runs off to greet another student approaching the front of the school from the gates. I let out a small laugh and look up at the great big building before me. "I guess today's not gonna be so bad." I say as I smile and enter the building.
