*MORNING*

"i'm awake!" I yelled to no one is particular while my face was flat down on the pillow and my hand reaching for my mobile phone to turn off my alarm. After the alarm  turned off i dosed off again only to be awaken by something warm hugging me.

and naturally me being lazy to check i just snuggle in closer to the heat. "Rose shouldn't you wake up now" a manly voice chuckled. that voice was way to familiar.....MARK. The minute i found out i sat up on my bed only to be pulled back down. 

i groaned "Why are you moving already i was enjoying your company" Mark pouted. "let me go, i have work to do today!" i yelled back trying to get out of his muscley arms causing them to tighten. "okay fine i will come back after i showered and freshened up." i whispered feeling defeated. "good girl!" he replied. 

"won't be a good girl for long," i thought to myself. of course i was going to do everything i told him but going back i was going for a run later on to keep fit. or maybe just to avoid him. urgh i don't even know anymore. sighing i just went for a nice warm shower it always helps me to clear my thoughts.

it should've been 30 minutes till i have been in here. i finished showering 15 minutes ago and all i am doing right now is sitting on the window's edge waiting for Mark to leave me alone. "Rose why are you taking so long?" he asked with concern but all he received in return was silence "Rose if you don't answer i will break this door now!" maybe i should tell him 'i dare you' but i prefer to think it instead. 

"as you wish" was the last words he said until he came from behind and pulled me into the bathtub that i was going to use later on. "hey what is the big idea Mark!" i yelled as i attempted to get out which obviously failed as he had a solid grip on me. "Urgh seeing you like this is making me lose my self control Rose" he groaned. "what do you mea-oh" i realised only after i looked down that my shirt became see through. 

"but i can wait until you like me..i am not the type to force you into anything you know" he said while scratching the back of his neck nervously. "uhh right umm i am gonna go now and change since i am all wet uhh i will see you later."

and with that i ran out of the bathtub and rushed into my closet. "Oh my god why is my heart beating so fast" i whispered to myself while changing my clothes. "could it be that i love him.. but that can't be it right it must be the mate pull" sighing i went out of the closet only to bump into Charlotte. 'Great just what i needed'. "hey what's up" i asked, trying to fake smile. "why are you close to Mark huh!?! Do you just want to get laid by him... because if he hasn't told you then i will. Me and Mark are getting engaged as we already have had sex and he marked me." she finished with a smirk on her face. 

"can i see the mark?" i asked not wanting to believe it until she showed me....from the looks of this mark it doesn't seem deep so it's just temporary as they haven't bonded deeply yet but it does look like it happened..a few minutes ago. 

"isn't it amazing i will be future Queen and don't worry you can just be...hmm let see... a maid" and she bursted out laughing. "You know what i don't care and congrats for getting rid of him for me" and with those words i walked out tears brimming my eyes. it hurt when i saw the mark...it hurts when he had sex with her....it hurts that they are getting engaged. 

i didn't realise until i was mumbling to myself until i bumped into the king. "oh sorry dad" i said while hiding my face with my hair. I thank the moon goddess to have persuaded me to grow my hair. "rose...Why are you sad" the King asked while taking me into his embrace... it felt nice and warm...i felt...protected something i would have wanted to feel with Mark but can't. 

"it's nothing i will go now.. Bye" i waved back while rushing down the stairs only to hear my name being called out faintly. 

i ran and ran. I can't believe i thought i liked him, falling in love is really painful sometimes. I wish i could go back to my mom and tell her what's wrong but i doubt she will believe me instead she will be asking me what pills have i taken. 

"hey sweet welcome back" said my mom she isn't really my mom but i like to consider her that way when in real life she was just the school's nurse that i use to go in. "it's my mate" i sighed each time i talk to her it's somehow always about my mate. 

"oh tell me what's wrong dear" this is what i love most about her, even though we aren't related by blood she treats me like her own. "It goes round & round, why do I keep coming back, I go down & down, at this point, I'm just a fool, Whatever I do, I can't help it" i just kept babbling about it. "oh sweetie it is totally normal, love is like a fun roller coaster itself.. in fact my mate was the same. so tell me more and i won't mind i promise" she said 

"i don't know but It's definitely my heart, my feelings but why don't they listen to me.. it beats so fast around Mark but it hurts when he marked another even though i claimed to hate him." i exclaimed. i turned my head to face her only to find her giggling like a teenager. "what's so funny?" i asked annoyed which only caused her to laugh louder.

"i-it's just that you my dear are in what people call LOVE" she exclaimed with a big white smile....love...."that can't be possible i claimed to hate him" i said. "shhhh" i said suddenly out of nowhere i heard a sound.
