8. Admit Defeat

Jumin Han POV

After a few moments silence between everyone, a loud skin-on-skin slapping sound is heard. It snaps me out of my mesmerised phase and see that Rika had slapped (F/Name).

"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" Rika screams at the trapped girl, ferociously.

"No, who do you think you are? You think you can run your mouth about Jumin when you don't know anything about him, don't make me laugh, Rika. I bet it didn't help when you clambered into each of their lives, becoming so close with all of them, meaning so much to them, then faking your own death. Did you even stop for a second and think about how Yoosung might be feeling?! Your own cousin?! THEY LOVED YOU RIKA, THEY TELL ME EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. HOW MUCH THEY LOVED YOU AND YOU ABANDONED THEM! NOT ONLY THAT, YOU CAUSED ARGUMENTS BETWEEN THEM, YOU CAUSED V TO FALL INTO DEEP DEPRESSION AND NOW I SEE IT'S BECAUSE YOU FORCED HIM TO LIE TO HIS OWN FRIENDS ABOUT YOUR DEATH! You don't deserve to have these people in your life, Rika, you don't deserve them at all, so don't you dare go running your mouth about any of them." (F/Name) exclaims, glaring at Rika with no fear anymore.

"(F/Name)..." V is the first to break the silence amongst us RFA members as we're completely taken aback by (F/Name)'s outburst.

"Saeran." Rika says, turning to face the white-haired man.

"Yes?" Saeran responds, also clearly surprised and mesmerised by (F/Name)'s outburst.

"Kill her." Rika states and everyone's eyes widen once more.

"B-But... Rika..." Saeran looks hesitant.

"But what, Saeran?!" Rika asks, evidently pissed off.

Saeran turns his head and looks directly back at Luciel, followed by him looking at the rest of us.

"I can't kill her." Saeran states.

"You what?!" Rika asks, growing angrier.

"I can't kill her, she made me realised what it means to truly care about people, I've never seen that kind of relationship amongst people in my life. I wanted revenge on my brother, yes, but killing someone who is precious to him and he is precious to them, as well as her caring so much about the rest of them, I can't do it, Rika, it's not fair." Saeran admits.

"Fine. I'll do it." Rika states and pulls a knife out of her pocket.

"NO! NO NO NO! RIKA DON'T YOU DARE!" I begin to shout in panic at the sight.

"RIKA, DON'T TOUCH HER!" V shouts.

"RIKA STOP!" Zen also begins to exclaim.

"Rika, don't you dare lay a finger on her." Luciel threatens.

"Jumin." (F/Name) suddenly speaks up and she's staring directly at me.

"(F/Name)." I respond, trying to hide my panic.

"Hug Jaehee." (F/Name) states and I look at her surprised.

"What?" I question.

"She's mortified but feels like she doesn't have the right to tell anyone, look at her." (F/Name) states and I do turn to see my assistant has tears streaming down her face, body trembling all over, eyes wide.

"Jaehee..." I slowly say but Jaehee doesn't respond.

"Jumin, one more thing." (F/Name) calls and I look back at her before approaching Jaehee. "In fact, no, all of you..."

(F/Name) gives me the brightest, most beautiful smile I've ever seen, her tears falling endlessly but she looks so happy. Her gaze move across all of us.

"Seven, never stop being your usual cheery self, never stop harassing Elizabeth 3rd, never stop laughing at Yoosung for playing LOLOL too much and not having a girlfriend; keep in touch and keep everyone in high spirits as usual, Seven, we all love you.
V, never stop your photography; the photographs you take are absolutely stunning, never think anything other. I only have one more request for you and that's to keep in contact with these guys more often, they love you even if they don't show it, show Yoosung that you're a trustworthy friend because you are, V, you're amazing.
Zen, never stop bragging about all your fan letters, never stop bragging about your looks, never stop sending selfies in the chat as often as you can, make sure you constantly keep everyone updated on your beautiful appearance, but make sure you notice Jaehee's adoration for you, because she loves you more than I've ever seen one love another before, she admires you for you, not only for an actor, but as a man. And don't ever stop reminding Jumin of how much you hate Elizabeth 3rd, hehe. Yoosung, no matter what Seven says, never stop playing LOLOL, I want you to remain guild master in the game, show the world that you're the best LOLOL player there is and that you don't need a girlfriend. But please, Yoosung, trust V, trust him with you life, because he would never betray you unless it was in regards to your safety, I'm sure of it.
Jaehee, please, stop crying. You are the most important person in Jumin's life, beside Elizabeth 3rd of course, and I know he loves you with all his heart; you're not just an assistant to him, Jaehee, you're his best friend, you're like his sister but also like his mother. That man wouldn't be as strong as he is right now without you, Jaehee, thank you so much for everything you've done for Jumin, he appreciates it just as much, he just never feels the need to tell you.
Jumin, Jumin Han, Jumin Han – Executive Director of C&R International, Jumin Han, the man I love, the man I would've wanted to spend the rest of my life with, the man of whom I would've loved to chase Elizabeth 3rd around the house with, the man who stole my first kiss, the man who saved my life, the man who was there. Jumin, look after Jaehee like you always have, continue your arguments with Zen and get internally pissed off when he addresses you as Trust Fund Jerk, question Seven's obsession with PhD. Pepper and Yoosung's obsession with LOLOL, remain close with V, look and admire his photography because it is beautiful.
I love you all so much, I thought I'd be afraid of death, but here I am, embracing it, because I have enjoyed my time with you guys; Rika and Saeran kidnapped me, abused me, beat me and she's about to kill me, but I'm not scared, I'm happy, I am so happy I met you guys, I'm so happy that I got to spend my daily life talking to you all and hearing all about your days and how different, yet so similar, you all are. I'm so happy.

I love you, Jumin Han." (F/Name) finishes her long speech and everyone is crying their hearts out.

Luciel collapsed onto the floor at some point, on his knees, both hands covering his mouth as the whimpers come out.
Yoosung is staring, wide-eyed, at the crying (F/Name), tears rolling down his face, hands clenched in fists as they shake.
Zen has one hand holding his stomach as if he is going to be sick and one hand covering his mouth as he cries out.
Jaehee, whom I am now holding in my arms, upon (F/Name)'s request, has her arms wrapped around me, holding onto me for dear life, crying as she looks at the computer screen.
V, although wearing his usual sun glasses, has tears streaming out from beneath them and is trying to remain composed, although is beginning to tremble.
And myself... tears don't stop coming, my body feels as if it's going to break down at any given moment.

"Y-You..." Rika suddenly begins to speak and we all see her shaking and she drops the knife she was holding.

"S-Saeran..."  Luciel begins to mutter.

Saeran turns his head back to us through the screen.

"P-Please... get her out of there... I'm b-begging you..." Luciel stutters, sniffling through his tears.

"Saeyoung..." Saeran responds, he's also tearing up.

"Saeran, get (F/Name) out of there, now." V demands, still trembling and crying but is the only one amongst us to speak clearly.

Saeran nods and walks over to (F/Name) whilst Rika is distracted, herself trembling also.
