Alice pov

Sigh ..

I dragged myself out of bed
I Don't feel like going to school today but , what else am I gonna do at home right ?
I got up and got ready
I wore all black t-shirt and jeans and grabbed a black leather and black leather combat boots

I went down stairs and noticed my car keys aren't on the counter
Where are my keys ?!
I went to the counter to look but saw a note
Daniel "sorry sis i took the car without asking, emergency situation "
I rolled my eyes in anger he probably did something to my car
Ughhhhhhh
I stepped outside my house , I looked down to my feet and sighed
Looks like I'm walking today , I looked back up ready to go and I see Jake leaning against his motorcycle,
I gave him a blank look and walked away ,
after he started his motorcycle hearing the the engine roar to life behind me ,
I noticed he was driving slowly next to me
"Alice can we talk "
I gave him a laugh "talk ? Talk about what ? There's nothing to talk about "
He parked his motorcycle in front of me making me stop in my tracks I sighed and closed my eyes and exhaled loudly "what Jake ? What ? You didn't finish hurting because I've ha-"
Before finishing my sentence my backpack fell on the floor he cut me off and pulled me close with force closing the proximity between us, all I can feel is his heart beating and mine beating fast as if I ran a marathon , he tugged a stray of hair behind my ear and looked into my eyes , filled with guilt and sorrow
"I'm sorry okay ?but I have my reasons Alice and don't ask what reasons  "
I have him a pathetic laugh"ohh your have reason that understandable , just like how we were about to kiss but never brought it up because it's one of your reasons ?"
His eyes widened,
He looked stunned at how I replied to him
He closed his eyes and inhaled ,
He sighed and opened his eyes , there was no emotion it's like he switched them off
"I wasn't going to kiss you , y-you just had frosting on your nose "
I rolled my eyes and pushed my self off of him
"Okay"
He furrowed his eyebrows
"Okay?"
I shrugged
"Yupp "
He grabbed my hand , his touch gave me goosebumps, giving my stomach butterflies
"What Jake ?"
He pulled me giving us a little space between us
"Look I wasn't going to kiss you okay? But I've grown to like you and that's very rare to have a female best friend and I don't want to lose that "
My eyes softened a little and my body eased up  , trapping me into his gaze
He gave me a small  smile and I sighed
He grinned knowing I forgave him ,

Curse my kindness

He rubbed the back of his neck "you know I have a chemistry test coming up a-"
I cut him off "you can come over today after school after you take me home "
He gave me brow and  furrowed his eyebrows
"Take you ho-"
I put my index finger on his lip and raised a brow
"You owe me "
He gave me a sheepish smile nodding in agreement
I picked up my bag and walked away
He shouted "how about I take you to school?"
I turned around and smirked walking backwards
"I'm having a nice time walking "
He let out a loud sighed "your not going to let that go aren't you ?"
I grinned "not yet"
I turned around and continued walking

After that I made it to school , I walked through the school corridors and met Tiara and her crew in my tracks ,
She stops in front of me blocking my way
I sighed and rolled my eyes  "your blocking my way " and gave her a brow
She gave me a smirk "aww look who's trying to look badass for Jake ? , nice try honey but you know guys like him only go for girls like me"
I gave her a light laugh "yeah exactly, girls like you , easy to please " and gave her a smirk
She gave me a dirty look "look you little ball of creature , I told you stay away from Jake ! Just because your his nerdy neighbor doesn't mean he'll ever look at someone like you , dressing like a bad girl and finally getting rid of those dorky glasses of yours really wouldn't make a difference to him, got it ?"
I rolled my eyes and was about to answer but
A male voice answered her
"Well I think she's naturally beautiful "
Tiara and her crew turned around and I took a glimpse
It was Jose
Tiara flipped her hair and swayed her hips to him putting her hand on his shoulder
"Omg aren't you the new guy with the sexy Spanish accent , hi of course you know who I i am I'm ti-"
He cut her off "not interested " and put his hands in his pockets and walked towards me smiling ,
He gave me a wide grin "come on nena before we're late to class"
I smiled and nodded
We left tiara shocked , she had her mouth wide opened, she could catch a flies.
