The princess became a beast

Alice pov

After a few days everything seemed okay but there were sometimes i felt like there was someone watching me. I thought I was paranoid but Jake told me I could be followed  or watched.
Jake made our friends to be with me at all times but I don't think it's necessary maybe he won't do anything maybe he was just giving us a warning ?
I pushed a side all my thoughts and looked at the my AP chemistry before the teacher embarrasses me. It kind of scares sometimes and I haven't had much sleep.
There were a couple of time Jake would sneak in  and cuddle with me and play with my hair and until I fall asleep.

After class was done it was time for lunch.
Teenagers pushing each other to get to the cafeteria I just waited a side until this chaos was done.
After a few minutes the hallways were clear.
I walked down texting Jake. Telling him I'm on my way.
I suddenly heard footsteps behind me I looked behind me really quickly but no one was there. I shrugged it off.
I continued to walk but I heard one of lockers get slammed. I froze and turned around slowly
Still no one was there.
I started to speed walk feeling a presence behind me.
I ran in side the cafeteria panting I leaned against the wall closed my eyes and sighed in relief.
I opened my eyes to see if anyone noticed but everyone was in there own conversation.
I looked at my usual table. All eyes were on me
Jake and everyone else had worry in there eyes.
I ignored and went and sat down next to Jake.
Jake gave me a soft look of worry in his eyes"are you okay ?"
I nodded
Jake responded "you don't seem okay princess "
I sighed "I'm fine just a little paranoid "
Claudia raised a brow "what happened?"
I responded "I don't know I was texting Jake and then I felt like someone was behind me but I looked behind no one was there and then I continued walking and then I heard someone slam something against the lockers I looked again and still nothing there , i started to run feeling like they were about to catch me, i don't maybe I'm just overreacting and I'm starting to hear things" I shrugged.
Jake pinched the bridge of his nose  "what did I say about not letting her walk alone !"
I shook my head "you guys can protect me all the time and I doubt he's going to do anything here we're in school "
Ally nodded "yeah I doubt he would do anything here when we're all here"
Richard and Jonah raised a brow not convinced
Jake shook his head" that's what he wants you to think , that prick tried attacking me in my own home you think he's not gonna do it here or anywhere else ?"
My eyes widened "he what?"
He rubbed the back of his neck
And gave me a sheepish look "yeah I didn't tell you about that part I just didn't want to scare you "
I punched him in the arm "well how do you think I feel now , because now I'm terrified ! "
My eyes widened in realization" omg he could attack me in my own home , I'm always home alone my mom is off on a business trip and my brother has football practice after school everyday ,what if when I'm alone he does something or even worse he could probably kidnap me or maybe even -"
Jake held my hand "relax princess i will never let anything happen to you okay? "
I shook my head "I know but you can't be there all the time Jake what if your asleep what if your not home ?"
Richard responded "she's right you know , maybe you should teach her how to fight?maybe you could teach her a few tricks"
Everyone nodded in agreement and I looked at Jake waiting for him to answer
He sighed and rubbed the back of his neck"alright ill teach you but just in case it doesn't mean I won't be there for you to protect you"
I nodded and gave him a hug "I can always count on you jakey "
He gave me a kiss on the cheek "we'll start today after school okay?"
I nodded in agreement.

After we finished lunch and Jake taking me to all my classes and walking me to the parking lot and following me back home.

After that I went home and changed waiting for Jake to come over to teach me how to fight.

I wore my black adidas shorts and shoes with a black sports bra and black baggy shirt

I heard a tap on the window and opened for Jake to come in.
