Leah's Point of View
We were now in Australia and it was really weird. It felt different being home. It felt what happened only a couple weeks and months ago was all a dream. It was actually quite peak. America and Europe was fun and exciting. But nobody here would care.
But whatever, it was senior year and soon enough we'd only come to school for attendance not for an actual reason. But we still had three more days until the first day of school. Three days to get everything in order and make sure we were ready.
On the plane ride to Australia, it was very interesting. Me and Mel sat nowhere near eachother and I was in the middle of two people I didn't know. I mean it was better than having the people know eachother. Like that Drake and Josh episode.
There was a lady next to me, she looked like she was doing something really important in Australia. She was in business attire and she had a poker, I didn't know how to read her.
Fat bitch.
The guy sitting next to me was way different. He had a huge, beautiful smile on his face. He was also very muscular and tall from what I could tell. I never actually saw him get up.
We kind of hit it off, he told me he was new to town and that he thought it'd be a good experience in Australia for him. Before we got off the flight, he gave me his number. We were friends, it wasn't weird. I was the only person he knew in Australia as of now.
We had been texting a decent amount lately, usually talking about his stressful job and me comforting him about how it was going to be fine and how his smile would rub off on everyone.
The days went on and there was less stuff on my list to buy. I bought all necessary clothes, which was new uniform and shoes. Last year, we had no uniform but because of a new principal, he thought it'd be great to have uniform and to enforce is strictly.
I wanted my last year in this school to be smooth and easy. I don't need anything screwing me over.
And finally it was one day until the first day of school. I wanted to end my life. I wasn't excited at all, but I was excited to see my friends that I didn't get to see over summer. Well my friend, Hannah.
She had been friends with me for a long time now because of our parent's friendship. My mum and Hannah's mum were best friends in college so she'd hope we'd be the same. That didn't happen but we still talk from time to time and she was a really good friend.
And out of nowhere it was the next morning. This was going to be terrible. I wouldn't make it through, there was no way. I was screwed. But I still had to go. I quickly put on my clothes, after taking a shower (of course) and I was ready to walk out the door when my mum screamed to get some breakfast.
Of course that'd be what she'd concerned about. Whatever, it wasn't going to kill my mood. I got into my car and started to drive off. It was 7:30 and it felt weird not having Michael in the car annoying me. It felt like I was leaving him at home or something. There were so many times where I wanted to turn back and get him but knew I couldn't.
I got to school and it was 8:00. School started at 8:15, I had a decent amount of time. I picked up my schedule and my locker combination and headed towards my new locker. It was in the relative area of where my locker was last time.
I looked at my phone, 8:13. First period started in 2 minutes and I had no idea where it was. I looked down at my paper and it said room 79, Maths. Cool, I was already screwed and I knew it.
I walked in the classroom to a man writing something in the board. I've never seen this teacher before, but it made sense I've never really been on this side of school before.
This teacher moved to the side before turning around so on the board it read, Mr Parker. The teacher turned around and standing right there in front of me was the plane guy.
