"Mom!" I yelled as I ran down the stairs with my suitcase trailing behind me. Today's the day we're going to California for the summer. I'm so excited for this vacation! Mostly because of the beaches.. and the boys. Oh, the boys! This summer is going to be a great change from boring Texas.

"I know!" Mom said, "I need you to go get your dad. He's taking forever!" She answers back quickly.

"Sure thing." I say as I happily walk to dad's study. He had his back faced toward me when I walked in.

"Hey, honey. What's up?" Dad asked

"Nothing, really. Mom just said to hurry or else we'll be late to our flight." We all piled into the car and drove to the airport.

Once we got there, I hopped out of the car and all but ran toward the airport. After we checked our bags and went through security, we had about an hour left until time to board, so we sat down on the benches.

"Well, I'm really hungry, so I'm gonna go get something to eat." I said getting up.

"Okay, sweetie." Mom said as I was leaving. On my way to McDonald's, I was looking at my phone when I ran into something hard. I looked up to see an extremely attractive boy standing in front of me.

"I'm so sorry!" he said as he began to apologize.
"It's fine! It was totally my fault. I was on my phone not paying attention!"

"Well, I'm Taylor." he said with a smile that could light up my day in seconds.

"I'm Hope" I said.

"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl." He smirked and winked at me. I instantly melted inside. How is one guy so damn hot?

"Th-thanks." I stutter, looking down blushing.

"No problem! I really need to go, though. My plane is about to board!"

"Oh, yeah. Me too! Where are you going?" I ask.

"To cali for the summer! You"? Taylor questions.

"Me,too! See you there?" I said smirking, hoping I would see him again.

"Well, it was really nice to meet you! Oh, and Hope?"

"Yeah, Taylor?" I wonder what he's gonna to say..

"I'll definitely be seeing you in Cali." As he smirks and walks away, I swear to god my heart melts. I walk into McDonald's in awe. did that really just happen!? I quickly ordered my food and rushed back to where my parents were sitting.

"Great! You're back! We've been waiting for you to board. Here's your ticket." She says, handing me my ticket. "We'll see you after the flight." As she walks off I grab my bag and get ready to board.

"Okay" I said walking to the line. As I was looking around I saw Taylor in the line next to me. Every time I look at him, I swear he gets hotter and hotter. He saw me, smirked, and began walking over to me.

"Hey Hope" he said with that amazing smile.

"Hey Taylor" I said casually. I was trying to play cool so he wouldn't know I thought he was hot.

"So we're gonna be on the same plane." He said, reaching for my ticket. Before I could ask him why he wanted it, he looked up with a smirk. "What?" I questioned while he just sat there..still smirking like always.

"Oh, nothing. We're just sitting by each other on the plane."

"Oh. That's unfortunate." I said with a goofy grin on my face. I was trying to play hard to get. I probably failed, but oh well.

"Well, I need to board the plane. I'll see you on there, babe" he said with a wink as he walked away.

Is this a dream? Did a hot boy just call me babe? Oh my god, I can't wait for Cali.
