I smiled down at my phone for what seemed like forever. I began to furiously type something back, but stopped mid sentence.

I smirked and decided to play hard to get. I wasn't gonna worry about it tonight. He can wait.

I fell asleep to the sound of Hunter Hayes' soft voice singing.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! I slammed my hand down on the snooze button on my alarm clock.

I groan loudly and roll out of bed. I walk down the stairs and run to the kitchen.

I open the pantry to find my favorite cereal, Cinnamon Toast Crunch. I open the fridge, grabbed the milk, and got a bowl.

Once I was done I went to get ready for the day. I found a pink crop top and matched it with a pair of jean shorts.

I quickly did my makeup and left my hair naturally straight.

I slipped my white iPhone into my pocket, grabbed my blue and white longboard, and left.

I didn't have a clue where I was going, but I ended up at the skate park. Once I got there I realized two things.

One, I don't know anyone. And two, hot guys everywhere.

I went to a tall ramp and started down it, but halfway down the ramp someone rammed into me.

I lost my balance and fell down. I looked up furiously to see a boy about my age. And might I say, he was insanely cute.

He had brown hair and beautiful brown eyes.

He ran down the ramp and came beside me.

"I'm so sorry! It was an accident! I didn't see you until it was too late." He said all in one breath.

I just looked into his eyes, speechless, until my senses kicked in.

'Oh, no! It's fine! I'm okay!" I said.

"My name's Shawn. What's yours?" Shawn asked.

"I'm Hope." I said.

"Whats a pretty girl like you doing here alone?" Shawn asked.

I blushed a deep shape of pink.

"I'm actually only here for the summer I just got here yesterday." I said shyly.

"Well, I'm glad I ran into you.. literally." Shawn said. I lightly chuckled.

"Hey, do you want to meet my friends? They're right around the corner at the ice cream parlor." Shawn asked.

"Sure." I said sheepishly. We got to know each other a little better on our way to the parlor.

The bell above us rang, alerting the worker that she had customers.

I walked up to the counter and ordered a banana split, and Shawn got a hot fudge sundae.

When we got to the booth where his friends were at, my heart stopped.

There, sat at the booth in front of me, was Taylor. He was laughing at something his friend said.

When Taylor looked at me he stopped what he was saying and said

"Hope?" He asked

"Taylor. Hey." I said awkwardly.

"You know Taylor?" Shawn asked.

"Yeah. We met at the airport." I said quietly. Taylor looked at me and smirked. I was confused at first, and then I realized that the only seat left was right next to him.

I quickly slide into the booth, my cheeks a light pink.

"So, Hope. How long are you gonna be here?" Taylor asked?

"Oh. I'm only here for the summer, sadly" I said.

"Oh, us too. We're on tour here all summer." Shawn said smiling at me.

"Oh! Are y'all in a band or something?" I asked.

"Not exactly." Taylor said, trailing off until they all burst out laughing.

I was confused until a boy about my age with black hair and bright blue eyes started to explain it.

"We're viners." I think his name was nash.

"Oh! Like that app?" I was completely clueless.

"Yeah. We make funny videos and have fans, so we go on this tour called Magcon."

"Oh.." I said.

"Yeah. This is Carter," Shawn said pointing to a boy with blackish hair and brown eyes.

"That's Matt." He said, as the blonde haired boy waved at me. "The rest of the boys are at the hotel."

"Oh, that's so cool!" I said. I stood up answering my moms call as I walked to the bathroom.

"Hello?" I called into the phone.

"Hey, honey? Can you be home soon? It's almost lunch time." My mom said.

"Okay! I'll be there in ten, mom." I said.

"Okay. Love you!" My mom said.

"Love you, too." I said.

I walked back to the booth.

"Hey. Sorry guys, but that was my mom! I have to go!" I said.

"Okay, bye!" Everyone screamed.

I turned around walking to the door. Before I could leave, Shawn stopped me.

"Hey, can I have your number?" Shawn asked.

"Sure!" I said smiling. My cheeks a bright pink.

I put my number in his phone. I looked over to the table to see everyone smirking. Well, except for Taylor, who was scowling.

I walked out of the parlor and rode home. I walked into my house, seeing my mom taking lasagna out of the oven.

"Hey, honey!" My mom said.

"Hey, mom!" I said jogging up the stairs. I put my phone on the charger and changed into soffee shorts and a loose T-Shirt.

"Hope!" My mom called.

"I'm coming, mom!" I said as I got to the bottom of the stairs.

I sat down at the table and ate quietly as my parents talked about their day.

Once I was finished, it was around 5:00 P.M. So I decided to take a hot shower, once I was done I threw on a big T-Shirt and pajama pants.

I put my phone on my ihome and put on shuffle.

I laid down at around 9:30 and slowly drifted to sleep to s
