Brendon's POV
I woke up handcuffed to a bed. I looked around, there were cords connected to me. My head, my hands, my chest, my legs, my feet, and even my back. They put the remote next to me so if I needed to call the nurse I could. I did. In about thirty seconds a nurse came in.
"Do you need something?"
"I need you to unhandcuff me."
"I'm afraid we can't do that."
"Do you have a cell phone?"
"Yes sir."
"Can I borrow it?"
"Who would you be calling?"
"I need to call my ex boyfriend."
"You're gay?"
"Yes ma'am I am."
"Why do you need to call him?"
"To let him know I'm here."
"I suppose you can."
She reached into her pocket and grabbed her cell phone and 1 key. She unlocked one of my wrists but kept the other one stuck. She gave me her phone and I dialed Ryan's number. A shaky voice answered the phone.
"Hello?"
"Ryan?"
"Yes this is he."
I heard Jon's voice screaming at him in the background.
"Who is it?!"
"Um."
"Ryan, I swear if you don't tell me right now!"
I panicked and put him on speaker.
"Ryan, don't make me do something to you that you don't want me to do."
I put myself on mute and told the nurse, who was still sitting next to me, to act like his mother. I took myself off mute and she started to speak.
"Hey sweetie, I just wanted to let you know that I love you and that me and your father are planning a get together."
"Really mum? When is it?"
Jon stopped yelling in the background and Ryan sighed of relief.
"Brendon." he whispered.
"Ryan."
"I love you mum."
"I love you too sweetie." the nurse said.
"I'm in the hospital, please come see me."
"Mom, I'll try to go I promise but I'm not sure if I can."
"Okay, just try please." the nurse said.
"I will."
"I love you bro." I said, pretending to be his brother.
"I love you too bro."
He hung up. I didn't want to wait. All he said was, he'll try. I wanted him to be here. I gave the nurses phone back to her and she handcuffed me again. All I had to do was wait.
