Darry's​ POV
Our son Eric Daniel Curtis was born on a warm spring morning at two am. I felt something wet splash on my bed husband and legs. I sat up slowly and gently shook Dally awake.I whispered to him" Dally Dally wake up baby . Our child wants to see the world." He rolled over and mumbled" Sweetie the baby isn't ready. Did you wet the bed?" I said" No my water just broke. " He sat up and said" Oh God oh man I don't know if I am ready for this." I looked at him and said" Why are you freaking out? I'm having the baby not you." He asked" Why aren't you freaking out?" I said" I don't know. We have a few hours before the baby comes. Honey let's order a pizza and smear some peanut butter on it." By this point Dally had gotten used to my weird cravings. But now he looked confused. I ate and he watched me. Then an hour later we were ready to go. We drove to the hospital. I was in the backseat with Pony squeezing the hell out of his hand and cursing Dally out. Ponyboy and I were both in tears. Me from the pain in my abdomen and him from me crushing his tiny hand. We got to the hospital at three forty five am. I was in labor for three hours. By six am our son was born. I was loopy on the medicine and asked Dally out on a date.  He smirked and said" Sure baby I'll date you. Maybe we can even have a baby someday. " Every one started laughing. When they brought Eric to us. He was passed around to all of his uncles. Then Dally made them all step out so we could see our baby by ourselves. I stared at him. He had dark blue eyes. And dirty blonde hair. He had all his fingers and toes. He was beautiful. Dally leaned over and kissed me so hard I almost fainted. He scooped up Eric and told him" Hi there little man. I'm your Daddy and this gorgeous guy is mommy. Now I know you heard him call me a lowlife asshole bastard. But he didn't mean it." I glared at him. He ignored me and told Eric" We love you so much buddy. You are so smart and sweet. I can already tell. You are gonna be loved so much. If anyone looks at you sideways they gotta answer to me and your uncles.  I promise I will make sure you and Darry are happy. I'll never leave you alone or hurt you. Okay Eric. " Eric gurgled and smiled at him. Dally kissed him and kissed me then said" Thank you Darry. I appreciate this so much. I'll spend the rest of my life thanking you for this perfect little gift." I smiled at him and said" You're welcome Dally. You're welcome. I love all of my boys. Especially my new boy." I looked up and both my brothers were wrapped around me. 
It was such a magical day.
