Hello wattpaders! :)
This is my first Matthew Espinosa story. I may not be the best writer but I'll try my hardest to capture all that's wonderful about him.
Matt has really changed my life for the better, and he's really important to me.
He may be considered famous on vine, YouTube, and Twitter....but he is the most caring, funny, beautiful boy I know.
Magcon is where you can do the most research on Matt and his other hilarious friends such as Nash Grier, Cameron Dallas, Shawn Mendes and so on.
If you have any requests on which boy to do a story on next, please message me!
I hope you all enjoy this story! :)
Prologue
Danielle Sanders
"Miss Sanders, your late" Mrs. Revenue points to the clock. All heads turn to my position in front of the door.
"I'm sorry, Mrs. Revenue. It won't happen again." I hurry over to my seat before she can say anything else. But sadly, she keeps talking.
"That is right, because you have detention. Today after school, don't forget to go like you forgot with my class." She turns her back and starts to write on the chalkboard.
Shoot. I think to myself. I have dance today. I open up my notebook and start to copy down the notes I missed. I've only missed five minutes, but that's only because some group of girls decided it would be funny to throw my papers across the hallway.
You see, at Walton High School, I'm not really liked, by anybody except my best friend, Emily Fender. She actually took the time to get to know me and what I'm going through. Others, would much rather see me struggle.
I see the group of girls that made me late sitting a few rows ahead of me gossiping about who knows what. I'm not one to eavesdrop, so I just turn my head back towards the board. English was honestly the longest period of the day in my head. Especially days like these where all you hear in the scribbling of pencils and the squeak of chalk.
"Hey Danielle," I look up and see one of the girls with long way blonde hair and way too much makeup on turn to talk to me.
"You should try to get here on time like the rest of us. I know it's hard when your such a klutz who also has no fashion sense, but seriously." All her friends giggle and her words and send a sneer my way.
I just ignore the daily insults as her friends respond with things like "Good one Kel" "Nice" "Way to go Kelly". Yea, Kelly is the main girl in the group I recently called the The Gossip Girls. Emily and I discuss them all the time. Their the main bullies.
"Alright class, please find a partner and work on questions 1-5 on page 67 in your textbook." Mrs. Revenue
Great. Partner Work. No one ever partners up with me. And I don't really mind at this point.
I search my bag for my textbook, but I can't find it. Ah crap it's in my locker. I walk up to Mrs. Revenue' s desk and politely ask her if I can go get it. She agrees and I get out of the classroom as fast as I can.
I slowly walk the empty hallways as I start to daydream as I always do. My thoughts take me to a different world. A world where I am not around those who ruin my life. Where I don't have to hurt myself because of them. Where I can meet the ones I love.
I've always dreaded going to school. Every since third grade. That's when I started getting bullied on a daily basis. I was so fragile and afraid at that time that people took advantage of me. Making fun of my looks, messing up my locker, physically hurting me, it was a rough year to begin with.
But, I took the insults as they came and kept all events they happened at school, at school. My parents were absolutely clueless about all of this. I didn't want them to know. They would change everything, and I my want to change.
Because I know there's someone out there who will actually like me. And for acting as myself. The girl known around here as That Dork Danielle or the Klutz Queen.
I'm snapped out of my thought when I feel myself stumble backwards. I ran into the pole separating the double-doors that led to the hallway with my locker. I approach the fading, gray-painted locker, number 707 and smile. The number always gave me a few happy thoughts. I yank on my lock, knowing that it's open, as always and there to greet me is my lovely, Matthew Espinosa poster.
707, aka July 7, is Matt's birthday. The poster is of Matt in a thumbs-up t-shirt and a beanie giving me his own, thumbs-up. I admire it for a minute before getting nervous that someone will see it and make it the talk of the school. I don't want anyone to know about Matt. He was my special guy, and nobody would respect him like I do.
He means so much to me, I can't even start to explain. Let's just say, he really helped keep the bullies out once high school started, and he fills up most of my daydream time. I grab my textbook and give a quick look around before kissing my hand and putting it on against Matt's face.
It's only 6th period so I still have to get through math and study hall. Yes, study hall is a pain. I sit alone in the corner and talk to no one but the supervisor who passes by every once in a while. Sadly, I only have science and lunch with Emily which are 2nd and 5th period.
I find the nearest clock that shows 12:35. I sigh knowing I still have to get back to class with all the horrible people wanting to have nothing positive to do with me.
Class ends at 12:50, so it looks like 15 minutes of taunting for me. I just wish someone could protect me.

The final bell rings at 2:30 and I wait for everyone else to leave while I pack up my stuff. Oh great. I have to go to detention now.
Emily surprisingly is waiting at my locker when I arrive. "Hey Dani, wanna go get some pizza?" she asks me.
I bite my lip. I hate having to reject her. I hesitate to answer and just open my locker slightly to not reveal Matt.
"Um, I can't Em, I'm sorry." I sigh.
"Why not?" she looks confused.
"Because The Gossip Girls made me late to Mrs. Revenue' s class and now I have detention."
"Oh my gosh, are you serious? I can't believe them sometimes. And I think Mr. Calbone is running it today."
I groan. I hate Mr, Calbone. "Yea, well I'll see you later then." I turn to leave when Emily grabs my arm.
"Wait. Can you meet at my place after detention to study for that science test we have tomorrow?" she asks me looking hopeful.
I sigh. "Sure." She flashes a smile and says a quick 'Bye!' before going the opposite way.
I get the rest of my homework material and hurry off to the detention room. I mentally roll my eyes as I see Mr, Calbone already snoring in his chair. I'm the only one here. Great.
I look at the clock: 2:37. Twenty-three minutes to go, well this will be fun.
Sorry if it's a little short! Matthew will come into play in a few chapters! Please vote, comment, and share!
