Yes, you feel one way towards a subject and someone can feel another way. Understand that life doesn't have loopholes, a cause always has an effect or affect. Doesn't matter if you believe in something above our power that can send you to hell or heaven once you're dead, evolution, or reincarnation, we are all the same. We, us humans, need to unite and love one another for all our good and bad to be able to conquer fear and hatred.
Once Upon A Time there might have been a stage where an ape was transferring into a human. Somewhere along the line, that human saw change, change scared this human. In order for this human to feel superior they began to hate this change, these abnormalities. Anything they did not like or found threatening they tore it down. After so much hate, the human has not evolved as much as you'd think it has. The human being is still filled with fear and hatred and very few have had the ability to see beyond such stupidity.
Once Upon A Time God created Adam. Adam couldn't live on his own. God then created Eve out of Adams bones. One day Eve set off to pick some fruit and a snake came slithering her way. The snake told Eve to get fruit off the forbidden tree, poor naive Eve didn't know better. And this is Genesis, Christianity, the most popular and common religion there is. It might have been where fear originated from. People fear going to hell where a red little man with a tail awaits them. Yet, they judge. If I remember correctly, the bible says only god can judge. Many have sinned on that part more then once. It also says that if a woman gets raped she has to marry the man who raped her, that women have no rightful spot outside the house. Pork must not be eaten. Many are raised to only have the knowledge that god made Earth in a week and that he is only to be loved. The bible was written from anywhere between 3,200 - 1,900 years ago. In those ages people didn't think outside their own little bubble. God did not write the bible, lets get that straight. So no, what the bible says, is not Gods words. Those words, written on paper, did not exist anywhere 100 AC.

Looking up at my ceiling I take a deep breath and wonder off to lalaland. My thoughts are cut off short by a knock. Looking around to see where to source of sound was coming from, my eyes land on my balcony. Jaden, my best friend, was looking at me with a crooked smile.
"Hey Danny, okay so you won't believe what happened today." He says going over to my bed and laying down. "What happened that's so important that you couldn't come in through the front door?" I ask, raising an eyebrow questionably at him. "Well you know how the house next to mine was being remodeled even though no one was living in it?" Nodding, I gesture for him to keep going, "Well turns out someone had already bought it and that someone is a fucking 16 year old! My mom went over to greet the new neighbor and she asked where his parents where and he said it was only him living there! Can you believe that?!? God, if I had known that you could've moved out at 16 I would've been out by now!!"
I stay quiet for a minute before I burst out laughing. I swear sometimes he doesn't even try to be funny but the way he speaks is enough to make me laugh. "Jay... is that really the reason you came over?...Just to tell me that a 16 year old moved in next door to you? Okay..."
"Well... it's not the reason why. I mean, it's about the 16 yr old but not because he moved in, but because he's a hot 16 year old. That's why I came here. Oh, that and because you never answered my messages that I sent you." Checking my phone to see if he was telling the truth I see that he did in fact text me...multiple of times.
I walk towards my window and see that the sun had already set. Did I really take that long on my English paper?? Dang... I guess when you write about an interesting topic time really does fly. "What time is it?" I ask Jaden who's eating my chips "20:11" he mummers with a mouth full of MY food. Good god, I can't believe I spent almost 9 hours on my paper.
