Double-Crossings

Chapter 2

*A year skips by, they are in their senior yr*

Dominic Marino. What a beautiful name for a beautiful person, of course we all know how beautiful he was. He was the perfect cliché, my perfect chiché. Dominic, what we had meant nothing to both of us... well at least that's what we thought.

Remember that day that we first kissed? It was in my kitchen, you and my brother had been working on a project together and I had no idea that you stayed the night.

Waking up I see that the clock says 02:34 A.M.. God, I'm so thirsty... imma go get water.

Leaning against the counter I hear someone coming down the stairs. Looking up to see who it is I see Dominic. Why is he here? Is he staying? I didn't know, if I did I would've put some pants on or something. Hiding my body behind the counter I finish my water and try to get past with out him noticing. "Hey... why in a hurry?" he asks in a groggy voice while rubbing his eyes. Stopping in my tracks I turn to him with furrowed eyebrows, "Why are you in my house?" I respond, yeah, yeah I know answering a question with another one, I'm the worst. Chuckling, he shakes his head and pours himself some water.

Hoping that that was the end of the conversation, I begin my travels up to my room again. "Daniel, come here." Dominic calls after me, confused, I turn around and head down the stairs I had already climbed. "What do you want? It's late and I'm sleepy so make it quick." I say. "When I got here you were asleep and that was since 15:00." he says in a annoyed tone. Why is he annoyed? Is he fucking jealous that I had an amazing ass nap and he got stuck with a school project? Oh well, get over it buddy not everyone is as privileged as me to sleep more then 8 hours and still want more sleep.

Raising an eyebrow, I sigh and start making my way to my bed room again. "Wait, Daniel, come back please." he pleads. Groaning, I once again stop in my tracks and turn back to look at him. "What do you want Dominic?" I ask in an exasperated tone.

Then you looked at me some way Dom, some type of way that made me regret listening to you. It was too much, that look. I knew what was to come next after it, I wanted it to happen. I wanted to know how it would feel to have your hands rub against my neck, and grip my waist and I wasn't disappointed when you did. I wanted to know how your lips felt against mine, or how they felt in general. I wanted to know how it would feel to get with the Dominic Marino. I didn't know how it was gonna be afterwards though... I hated the after math of it all. It was a fucking kiss for fucks sake... we both felt it. It was fucking amazing.

He then started walking towards me, and let me tell you... I got nervous. "Dominic, um what are you doing?" I asked walking backwards and I swear to you that my life became a fucking cliché in that moment. This was Dominic... my brothers best friend, could I really do this?

Who am I kidding?? Of course I can fucking do this.

Dominic placed both his arms against the wall, next to my face. I shivered as I felt his breath fan my neck. Then i gasped quietly when he kissed my neck. He started to make his way up my neck and I tried to not squirm. I gripped his arms and closed my eyes letting him do what he pleased. I can't believe this. His lips feel wonderful... blissful. We kissed for maybe a minute but it left like an eternity and I never wanted it to end.

The kiss began to get heated and his hands were leading to places I wasn't ready for, so I pushed him away. We were both out of breath and the only difference was that he was smiling and I wasn't. "That... that was great." He breathed out while smiling. I had to agree, it was great, but I didn't want him to know.

Without a word, I jumped off the counter and retreated to my room. He was calling my name but i took advantage of the fact that he can't yell because everyone in this house, except for him and I, were asleep.

I made it out to be that I hadn't heard him that night because I didn't want to make things worse.

The next morning at school he tried to speak to me in calculus and in every other class i had with him but like i said, he tried.

"Hey biotch, want to go eat after school? Or we can leave during lunch to eat and just not come back afterwards..?" Jaden says falling into step with me. It was currently 11:56 and I just had one more class before study hall and since we both have it at the same time i just suggested me leave then and he agreed saying he'll meet me next to my Jeep.

Scanning the halls to see where my brother is I see him and Dominic talking to some girls a grade below us. As I walk over i catch Dominics eyes and look away quickly.

"Aiden, Im gonna go eat during my study hall, quieres ayer?" (Translation: wanna go?) I ask him taking away his attention from the girl in front of him. "Pos sure but whens that? Next block o la block after this one?" He ask, I make a gesture signaling the one after and he nods. "Okay, meet me next to my car. Im pretty sure Jaden is gonna be there by then." I state but as soon as I walk away I hear him speak up again "So if you're taking a friend can I take one too?" He semi shouts and I ignore him because... well I didn't want to see Dominic again.

Heading to my car I see both Jaden and my brother. "Okay ready?" I ask taking them out of they're conversation. "Yea but wait a minute or two because I invited Dom." says my brother. Groaning, I open and turn on the car because it is waaaaay to hot outside for it to be considered safe.

After another minute passes I'm completely over it and start to switch the gears to drive but as soon as i back up we see Aiden rush out of the school double doors and towards us. As I groan my brother , of course, cheers thats his friend got to make it in time.

Sitting down in In-N-Out with a bunch of guys who don't know the difference between food and toys is the worst. "Guys stop throwing the fries! They're gonna kick us out you fucking dimwits!" I yell out to catch their attention because they are possibly the loudest 17 yr olds you'll ever hear.

Right after I say that a girl a bit older then us walks our way. "It's okay, I'll clean it up no worries." She says practically drooling over the animals next to me. "Yea, you heard her Danny. She'll clean it up, it's her job." Says my ignorant excuse of a brother.

Choosing to ignore his comment, I continue eating and glance at Dominic seeing that he's watching Aiden and Jaden throw fries in each others mouth. I look away once he moves afraid that he'll catch me staring.

I couldn't believe that you'd make me act like this. It had been a year since we had first met but it was always chill between the both of us. You would always hang out with my brother so of course I got to hang out with you plenty of times bug why? Why'd you have to be so fucking stupid and kiss me? Why not kiss someone else?
