Kayla's POV
Like always, history class was taking too long, and it feels like I've been in this stupid class for hours. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door, a quite tall, unfamiliar guy walked in holding a piece of paper. I'm guessing that he's the new guy, Aubrey was right, he was pretty attractive.
"Uh, is this Mrs. Sanders History class?" He asked Mrs. Sanders, sounding quite confident if I might add.
"Yes it is, you must be Caspar." Mrs. Sanders answered Caspar, who's name I finally found out, trying to sound polite.
Caspar looked at everybody in the class, but he suddenly kept his gaze on me, he had a smirk on his face now.
"Please sit down Mr. Lee," Mrs. Sanders said with a straight face while pointing at the seat next to me.
Shi* , I thought to myself, I didn't realize that the only empty seat was the one next to mine.
"What's up, babe," Caspar whispered, winking at me and smirking. Man, that smirk.
I just ignored him and tried to actually listen to the lesson that Mrs. Sanders was teaching us.
"So class, I'm going to assign you to do a one month project, you have to work in pairs, but the twist is, this project isn't going to be a "free choice partner" one, so I'm going to assign you with one." Mrs. Sanders said with her evil smile plastered on her face.
I never liked her projects, they're all pointless, like honestly, what are we going to do with history in our life? It's not like everybody in the world is going to ask me who invented the first balloon.
"Aubrey Winters and--"
Please let her be partnered with me, please.
"--Jackson Simmons."
Oh, man her we go.
"Caspar Lee and... Kayla Martin."
Well, this is going to be an interesting month.
-Later that Day-
"Hey, babe," Caspar said while leaning against the locker next to mine.
"What do you want," I asked him, rudely if I might add, I knew he was going to be like one of those stuck up new kids.
"Since we are partners, I thought it would be appropriate to ask you for your number," Caspar said slightly chuckling.
"Well, you have to earn it to get it , Mr. Lee." I informed him while closing my locker and walking away.
-After School-
I got my things out of my locker, and headed out to the parking lot of the school.
I was about to open my door until someone stopped me.
I knew it, Caspar.
He was pressing me against my car, and he was pretty close to me, I tried getting out of his tight grip, but he was too strong.
"Caspar, what do you want," I whispered.
"I was wondering if you wanted to go somewhere with me," Caspar responded in a seductive tone. Which was pretty sexy...snap out of it Kayla.
"And I'm supposed to trust you because?" I said, trying to sound as confident as I can.
"You just have to trust me, I have to earn your trust to get your number right?" Caspar muttered while smirking and chuckling.
// Finally, Caspar is in it, here you go Kayla, next up. the "date"
