Chapter 25:

The rain was pouring down on her and she stood there in a ferel stance. She was beautiful, yet lethel dressed in all white baring her fangs at me like I was her prey. For all I knew I was, and she was determined to take me down.

I helf my breath and kept my eyes locked with hers, prepared to run at any second. My hands were shaking as was half of my body but I tried to look unafraid. The last thing I was is to iniciate the chase.

"Cintheea stop, she is my friend" Andreu spoke loud and clear. He took a step inbetween me and her while taking me completely out of her view. I almost forgot he was even here, my whole thoughts and body were aimed at this incredibly scary vampire.

"Your friends with a human?" She growled and I could hear her voice getting closer. I instantly took a step back toward the door and put my hand on the handle. It slipped off because my hands were so sweaty from being nervous.

"She is no ordinary human, and yes I am so do as I say and leave her alone." He said in an authoritative tone and took a step toward her.

"Yes, brother as you wish." She spoke softly but I could hear the resentment for me in her voice. I could tell something wasnt finished between me and her,.......... awesome.

She walked around him and straight up to me where I stood frozen. I dont know why I thought she was just going to go back out the window she came in from. My hand grasped the handle to open the door for  her but it kept slipping off. My cheeks got really red as I kept failing to get the handle to unlatched.

"Do you need help?" Her voice wasn't mean but not nice either just average like she really thought I couldn't open a door handle. I felt even more stupid and if possible blushed harder.

"No, I think I got it." I mumbled and wiped my hands on my shorts then pulled hard. It came undone and nearly off but I didn't care.

"Thanks" She said and walked past me and shut the door.

After the door closed there was an akward silence between me and Andreu. Not because I was mad at him or even scared I was just shocked at how wierd that situation just played out. She didn't even attack me, and why the hell was she busting throught her brothers window anyway?

"Are you alright" He spoke quietly and turned toward me. He looked stressed but watchful of my expressions.

"Yea im ok but just really confused." I laughed a little and walked to the bed to sit down for a moment.

"What confuses you?" He came and sat by me on the bed and crossed his legs. He was really cute with his black hair and twinkling eyes. Not the girly twinkle but like the sun was shinning through his eyes. Its probably why I was so captivated by him in the first place.

"Well for starters, why is your sister breaking through your window?" I waved my hand to the wall of missing window.

"She sensed a human in here, and she also sensed my distress she took it as an alarm." He shook his head and also looked at the missing window. "I'll have to get that fixed tonight."

"But couldn't she like ...use the door?" I raised my eyebrows.

"she wasn't in the building, she was out in the city. When she felt my distress she ran...at vampire speed to me and she knows that people in the hookah bar cant know she is a vampire so this is the only way she thought logical." She spoke fast but I kept up.

"I bet she was upset when she found out she did it all for nothing" I half frowned but was happy it wasnt because she hated me and was coming for my blood.

"I think she was more upset that I was hanging out with a human, instead of...." he trailed off but I knew what he meant.

"Feeding off me, you were protecting me instead." I said matter of factly.
