Chrisha's POV

The halls are already silent. Great. I am late. I can't believe this. I immediately slowed down and grabbed my bag from behind and checked the paper the registrar gave me when I enrolled last summer.

9 - Mul

Mul? That's Korean for water. So, this school is actually a Korean institution? Cool. Which means the students all speak hangul, right? I stopped walking when I reached a white door with a big rain drop carved in the middle, and the roman numeral of nine attached beside it. I guess this is the room I belong to.

It took me a lot of courage to knock on that door thrice. And a lot of control not to knock according to the tune of Frozen's Do You Wanna Build A Snowman. That movie was a hit! The door opened and a middle aged woman came out. I guess she's our moderator or something.

"Can I help you?" She asked.

"Oh, yes ma'am. I'm Chrisha Chu, and I um, belong to this class." I answered.

"Oh! You're the transferee, right? Wait for my signal for you to come in, out here." I nodded.

She smiled at me and closed the door. Oh, and did I mention that there was glass on the door? And it's actually a bit big. Like you can actually peek through it and see how the class is going. So... through the glass, I saw ma'am, wait, I never asked for her name. Well anyways, I saw her mouth some words and then nodded at me.

I guess that's the signal for me to come in and introduce myself. Or atleast that's what I see in movies and what I read in Wattpad. I took a deep breath before opening the door. I'm a bit shy. Incase you don't know. I stood beside Ma'am Kelly, I read that on her ID. LOL.

"Class, this is our new student, Chrisha. Please introduce yourself." This is it! The moment of truth. Should I speak Korean? English? Tagalog? The students here have small eyes. Well most, atleast. Err. Whatever! I'll introduce myself, and that's all that matters.

"Annyeonghaseyo. I'm Chrisha Chu, 15 years old. And I'm half Korean. I'm from Tewman Academy, just a few kilometers away from here. I hope we'll all be friends." Bow. Good thing they didn't ask for a more detailed introduction. I mean, who would want that? I know I don't.

"Heeeeellloooo Chrisshhaa." They greeted in unison. Is that even neccesarry? I mean, it is pretty akward to be greeted by people who look like they don't care whether the world has ended.

"Thank you, Chrisha. You may sit beside Mister Park over there", she said looking at the guy at the end of the row, who seems like he doesn't care about the world.

"Go on now. Class, be kind to her." She reminded them. They all said yes in unison. That's cool. I made my way to the back of the classroom and ignored the deadly stares of some girls here. Why? Haven't they seen a girl sitting beside a handsome guy? I do admit this Mr.Park guy is good looking.

I was going to say something to him when he suddenly said, "Don't even bother to talk to me." He's mean =_=

I guess he's the bad boy type. He even has earphones plugged to his ears while his eyes are closed! He's into Cold Play, ay? That's a relief. But isn't it  prohibited to use gadgets during class hours or something?

"Is he allowed to do that?"  I whispered to the boy on my right.

"Who? Jimin?" He asked, glancing at Mr.Park, who's name I just found out is Jimin. I nodded.

"Nope", he replied.

"Then why is he doing that?" I asked him.

"Because he wants to." What!? He does that just because he wants to? And Ma'am Kelly didn't even do anything about that!? That isn't fair. Not fair at all.

I was supposed to respond to his answer when he raised his hand, "Look Chrisha, if you don't want to be in trouble, then better not be curious about Jimin."

"Why?"

"Just don't." He winked.

Psh. As if I'll believe in that!
