We follow katy as she leads us to her room.
" Why are we going to the boys bathroom?" Truman asks very confused.
" Do you want safety or not?" Asked katy in an irritated tone. We walk into the bathroom and down the hall way leading to the urinals was a door.
" Isn't that a janitors closet?" Asks Kyndalyn.
" Wow your smart! It is! " Says katy. She was very sarcastic.
She opens the door and it was a very small square room. With a desk and Computer on the left, and on the right was a stack of mops and brooms against the wall and I'm the back right corner was a ladder that lead to a small square hole in the ceiling which is the only light in the entire room.
We go up one by one and get up to a another door. She locks and closes the one under theater and then comes up and unlocks the door. It lead to a room that was super modern and like a rich person would own. It was so nice and I have never seen anything like it!
" Wow! We get to live here?" Asks Truman. We were all excited and amazed but he seemed the most excited.
" No. Stay here. Not live here. " Says katy.
" I will order you room service since we didn't have time at Stephens. " She says.
We all look at her and tell her what we want.
10:32 am.
" the food is so good! Thank you so much katy!" Says Truman while taking a bite of his pancakes. We all got our favorite breakfast meals. It was a huge combo meal she ordered, that came with seventeen pancakes, fourteen hash Browns, and twelve biscuits.
" Yall know I have a meeting later right?" Says katy
" Yeah I'm well aware of that and I know you will not say a thing about us correct?" Says Truman.
" How did you already know?" She asks.
" You left your lap top open and an email arrived like ten minutes ago and it said it was a reminder." He says shoving another pancake down his face.
She rolls her eyes and shuts her computer. " Stop snooping" She finishes.
11:03am
We finished eating and katy is getting ready for the meeting.
" So what's the meeting about? " I ask.
" Look don't worry about it. It's just about who to kill or what plans we have after the game. And you know that the wanted this to be done quickly but jot this quickly. Already more than half of the kids here have died in two weeks when it was supposed last a month. " She says.
" Well, if you turn us in, our faction will eliminate you." Says Alyssa.
Katy heads to the door and and pulls out her key. "Be good! I'll be back in like two hours so watch whatever you want. Just don't leave." She says as she heads out. The door locks and plop down on the bed and get out my phone to text Stephen we are safe.
" I have a plan." Says Truman and he locks the door.
" Here's what I propose. We can sneak into the office corridors, by using this user floor and once we are done we can take out a few guards and the leaders and then we win "
" it won't be that easy" Says Kyndalyn
" doesn't mean we can't try" Says Josh.
"I think if we have help we can do it " Says Isabel
" No. The smaller in numbers the easier it will be for us to sneak around. " I say.
" Let's tell katy our plan and then we will go and do it with or without her" Says Kyndalyn
2:51pm.
" Sorry the meeting ran late" Said katy ad she walked into the room
" We have a plan" starts Truman.
He explains the plan and she loves it.
" It's a great plan! In some aspects. Not all of it but if yall plan on taking them down yall need to get ready. Like weapons now! Let's go!" Says katy. We all start getting ready and scraping on or holsters and things like that. Katy goes to the closet with the girls to change and when she comes our she looks completely different.
She had the exact same color pattern but a different outfit.she had on thigh high boots. The right boot was still blue but with black lacing and a black heel and the black boot had blue lacing and a blue heel. Then gaurder belts, the one above the blue boot was black with a blue dagger on the side and the one above the black boot was blue with a black dagger on the side . Then she had on tiny shorts with the right short was black and the left was blue with two guns strapped to the back of the shorts. Above that she had on a leather bra like thing with the right cup blue and the left cup black with just a strap going around her back to hold it on.
We head out and prepare for the worst.
" Guys, remember. This is a matter of life and death. We need to split up and stay in groups of three. Lucas, Kyndalyn, and Truman, go down the hall way and go down to the basement . Josh and Isabel, go to the attic above my room and crawl through the air vent until above the offices. Alyssa and I will go the back way through the children's hall. " Says katy.
We agree and head to where we need to go. I look down at my dog tag and reminisce why I am doing what I'm doing. " For you Dylan." I say to myself as I put it back in my shirt.
We head down to the basement. We open the door and wait for the text from katy saying she is ready to attack.
" What if it's a trap? What if -" Says Kyndalyn
" shh! Just wait I promise we will be safe." I say.
She looks like she is contemplating something important. She is clutching the bat I gave her. I turn to check outside the door.
Then a sharp pain shoots the back of my head.
Truman POV:
" What if it's a trap? Or what if-" Says Kyndalyn
" shh! Just wait I promise we will be safe " Says Lucas.
We are wait in the basement for katy to text Lucas and let us know to go in for the kill. I hear the basement door open and I turn around to see Lucas looking out the door and then shutting and locking it. I see Kyndalyn walk up behind him and swing. She hit him right in the back of the head. Lucas fell over and she comes after me. She swings down and I grab her bat, then push it back into her face. She let's go of the bat and I swing it directly into her nose.
" What are you doing? I thought we were friends!" I say at her.
" I don't need yall! I was only with you because." She stops and stares at me. She grabs the bottom of her shirt. She slowly starts to lift it up.
" I did this for the baby. I was just trying to stay safe. I didn't want, I just, I, I, I, wanted, " She sighs. It's early in her pregnancy. But how did that happen? I stay on edge but throw down the bat and go check on Lucas. I hear her start running towards me and she had a rusty pair of scissors in her hand and tried to stab me but I move and she stabs the floor and I grab her arm. I take the pair of scissors and stab her in the neck. I felt bad but she was a danger to the test of us.
" What happened?" Asked Lucas
